    Guys, check out this link:

    http://www.vanns.com/shop/servlet/category/desc/60

I was looking at the HDMI 1 (the 3'4" blue cable). It's $174. If I were to get the 40" Sony KDL 40XBR2 Bravia HDTV, would I need an HDMI cable such as this one, to get the absolute best picture and sound quality (mostly for video games, such as VF5)? Or would I be wasting my money?? Silver seems to be very beneficial in preventing interference, and getting the absolute best signal. So I'm just double checking with you guys. I'm new to all this stuff, but I want to do it right if I'm going to spend the money; yet don't want to waste any if the differences on significantly cheaper HDMI cables are 100% irrelevent!

You would probably be wasting your money on expensive HDMI cables. Go to the official HDMI website and see what they say about the cables. Then go buy some different cables at Best Buy and test them out. If you can see a difference go with the ones you like and take the other ones back.

hdmi cables are a digital signal, not analog. So the quality of the cable doenst matter. Just buy one for $6 here.

The DOA4 stick is quite inferior to a proper DC stick.
It's lighter and feels much more fragile.
You wont like the feeling of it.

I'm buying VF5 for PS3 now, but if MS does go ahead with the rumoured "redesign" of the 360 with bigger HDD + HDMI, then I will wait for that redesigned 360 and buy VF5 a 2nd time.

I'm that kind of gamer if I really like a fighting game allot, I will end up buying it for multiple systems because I'm like that.
(I have various Street Fighter games for Genesis, Saturn, Dreamcast, GBA, Playstation 2, Xbox, DS and even the PSP :p)

I'm definately gonna have to get VF5 for 360 if it's gonna be based on Version C. It sucks that I'm very impatient and had to get the PS3 version.

You guys know if the Hori Fighting Stick (PS3) is exactly like the one for DOA4 as far as the stick assembly on it?

Is there still no news on the improvements of the 360 version over ps3? Have they definately said that there will be no online for 360? I ask because at the moent I have neither console but I do have a deposit on a ps3. If the 360 version is really worth waiting for I could save myself a lot of money.

It's a pretty safe bet that the 360 version will be based on the upcoming version C.

Jesus Chirst, I wonder how all this Ver. C rumors came about, SEGA themselves haven't even mention such a thing. And even if this is true, SEGA already said the PS3 version is going to have exclusive content. And please, don't make me look for a link, I'm tried and lazy, use GOOGLE slackers, LOL.

SEGA has already mentioned something about Ver. C which will have new moves for all characters new items and further balancing. Just like you I'm too tired to look for the link.

I don't know if that's entirely true aside from that Version C is coming.

Sega has yet to announce any details of what Ver. C will include.

Nope, it is almost entirely true; or flat out entirely true. Here is the link:

    http://www.the-magicbox.com/gaming.htm

There is no mention of new items though; so perhaps someone read that on another site. I wonder if Version C will be a downloadable patch for PS3 /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/confused.gif .

    Oh god... magic box...

I have a lot of friends at AOU right now, and there was no announcement about any potential gameplay changes yet. It could happen, but nothing confirmed yet.

Just like it's not been confirmed yet that PS3 version of VF5 will be receiving major feature updates through an upcoming online update.

Yeah, I saw the little mention of it at magic-box, but magic-box often has inaccurate information.

Srider, has Sega ever even mentioned version C? You say they've never explained what it would include, but that implies that Sega has actually spoken about version C. I don't even think that's ever happened; as far as I know, Sega has never, ever made any mention of version C EVER. Again, as far as I know, version C was a rumor made up by IGN.
