Virginia/Maryland/DC NEW THREAD!!!

just finished playing sc4 with chefboy and terry bogus. i must say...i have mixed feelings about this game. there are plenty of changes, and the overall feel of the game is different. 8 way run is definitely slower than previous SCs. ivy's moves list has been spread out into different stances, which takes a lil bit getting used to. not sure yet whether to like it or not...

overall, i am not thoroughly impressed.

 

That's the only thing that really bothers me. Ivy is ALWAYS different with every iteration of the game. Why don't they just leave her alone and just add new moves instead of totally revamping her move list!

 

I'm going to be working on Sophitia, Xianghua, and Cassandra.

 

Haven't played an SC game since 2. So far 4 is OK, graphically it looks real nice.

Hampton Roads people, Blackula calling. My apartment is open for gaming. Just got a brand new 42" HDTV. I've got the PS3 on one TV and the 360 on the other one and VF5 for both systems. If someone wants to bring a second system of one of the above, we can run VF5 on both TVs for the same systems. Let me know when you guys want to get together.

 

Hey guys, I just moved out to VA and I've got no one to play with. I've got the PS3 version so no online for me, and all my old VF buddies are scattered (just got out of the military). Thats only 30 min from me. What time do you guys get together? I'd really like to stop by for some matches, but I can't do it too late (got a wife and kid at home). It's been months since I had a good match. Used to have a tournament every other week with my boys in Korea, but I got out in May.

Anyway, let me know the time and place, and I'll see if I can stop by.
