Aight. I've come to this conclusion. Unless I can find a reliable PS2 to XBox 360 controller converter, I'm not going to get an XBox 360. I've gotten to play VF5 on the XBox 360 using an XBox 360 pad and the pad sucks. I couldn't do any of the moves I was inputting. Things I was doing weren't coming out. So yeah, unless I find a reliable converter, you guys won't be seeing me play online.

You only play pad man? That really sucks man, I know how much that pad sucks. The brief affair I had with hyper fighting taught me to stay away from it. Hopefully they'll come with something soon...

Buy a 360 3rd party controller with a Good D-pad, the Gamespot brand one is good but the controller breaks easily. I personally use a XFPS 360 converter so I can use the Dualshock on the 360.

My friend was telling me about the XFPS 360 converter. What is your opinion about it? He tells me it's a bit sketchy. I would like to test one out before I actually dish out $80 for one of those things.

I have the original version of the XFPS (the black one)and it I haven't noticed any lag and it works great.

The 360 pad does suck, I bought a Hori stick, and I'm kinda digging it.

I've heard tales of lag using converters, but I have no idea if this is true.

People say that the XFPS doesn't lag if and ONLY if you have an official PSX or PS2 dual shock controller any third parties of any kinds will experience problems

Think my router has problems with XBox live. I'm able to connect but for some reason I disconnect within at least 10-20 seconds after the start of a game.

Sounds like a NAT problem. Just a guess, let me know if you need some help troubleshooting it.

So far I've tried port forwarding and disabling/enabling the UPnP setting. Still didn't work, but I think I'll try it again later tonight. The router that I have is a Linksys WRT54G v5.

I like to throw my xbox on the DMZ. With the newer routers this is really easy to do and can save you from tons of routing issues, like NAT. With your Linksys you should open up the web interface and move to security. There should be a tab with DMZ information. It will be disabled by default and will give some warning regarding security. Enable it and put your xbox's IP on there.

There may be a prompt letting you know that this is not the safest route and recommends you use a static address. Ignore that, the static address is not a big deal, only recommended because a router can reset and change your ip's. I would just take note of when your power goes out or when you power reset your router.....As for the security, this is more of a warning for if you are setting a PC outside the firewall. Which you are not, its an xbox. Even if for some reason someone did get to your xbox, wont happen, they cant do anything from there.

Hope this helps. Let me know.
