iight so i just got off the phone with KRIMSON aka MANNY. i wanted to see if he wanted to play some VF with us tonite, cuz we dont usually see him around anymore and i happen to consider him my friend. check this, this foo berates me for SUPPOSEDLY talking shit about STFU. just for the record, i did NOT talk shit bout ANY of the MEMBERS of STFU. i was just simply making fun of the NAME STFU for it sounds FUNNY and RIDICULOUS. if i DID talk shit, why would i invite the entire STFU clan to my house to play DR on ps3, rather than spending all their money at the arcades?!? >=O HALF OF THE PEOPLE THAT COME OVER TO MY HOUSE ALSO PLAY TEKKEN!!! wouldn't it be much MORE fun if STFU guys came over on a regular basis??? so from here on out, i will just STFU about STFU, because niggas feelins be gettin hurt whenever the name STFU is brought up on here. this is apparently the reason why krimson quit VF, because of me SUPPOSEDLY badmouthing the group. pffffftt! manny, you've let this name get to your head. dont forget about your other friends. i mean damn, i have respect for everybody, but dont get your panties in a bunch when somebody just so happens to think that STFU as a crew name is funny as hell, because i will put you back in your place. thank you!

I just wanted to say that I'd like to join you guys sometime at one of the gatherings. I'm in Owings Mills, MD. About 9 O'clock on I-695.

Although I'm not into the whole traveling for tournaments and money anymore, I wouldn't mind getting some play in VF with Humans and learning more of the game.

I'd like to learn Wolf, I've always enjoyed him since VF1. However, with my DOA (plz don't harp on me about that) background I was able to use Akira a little better than I am Wolf so far. I guess I was able to jump in with Akira easily mainly because of the move sets and how similar Akira is to Hayate and Gen Fu from DOA. However, either way I'd like to make my main Wolf and sub Akira.

 

ur just in luck! my main just so happens to be wolf, and i know almost everything about akira (he was my main in vf4 evo).

 

I find this post to be very funny for several reasons.

A) Manny is getting mad over video games, yet again. For all of you that dont know, he got mad at my house when I was still living in Falls Church for owning his kilik in SC3.

B) The name STFU (springfield Tekken Force United) probably has to be the most ridiculous name ever, probably evidence as to their idiosyncratic style of playing.

C) For the record, I probably would make fun (and have made fun publicly) of the name STFU. Namely because
1. STFU, other "leet speak" abbreviations, etc. are derived from internet jargon and Should stay on the internet. Actually, it should be prohibited by people who actually use STFU in the "Springfield Tekken Force United" context instead of the "shut the fuck up" proper context.
2. SFE (springfield elite) was a much more respectable name way back in the day. As much as I didnt like some of the people in that crew, they were much more respected in the gaming community then the name STFU is.

D) I find it also funny that gamers take shit so seriously, ESPECIALLY when it is not the game, but the community surrounding the game.

E) Moreover, its even laughable that people have the audacity to berate someone for their good graces and hospitality. If you can't handle what small things people say in the local community relative to what people actually say in the larger picture, those people then should really STFU (proper context). And you will never ever win this argument because everyone on this forum knows that flash has been more than supportive of the gaming community here.

i dont go on these boards that much but i want to check what's going on with you guys. who's all going to evo?! we have to all get together for solid evo practice. i've been hosting games at my place for tekken/3rd strike. i dont have a problem playing vf either. nick/eddel, call me whenever you guys have games.
