Great find Kamen. It's a refreshing change from the usual VF4 EVO clip onslaught.

Are there anyone in japan with connection to BTribe ppl? perhaps to gain access to the video recordings?

what did they do to those old tourney video/images anyway? I heard they only distributed among friends/members. Heck it has been almost 20 A-cup(+BT) alrdy if they are saving the clips up for sale it is about time... /versus/images/graemlins/tongue.gif

WOW! 191 teams in the next BT Cup tournament! That's insane, seems like it'll take an eternity to run! Hmm lots of strong and scary looking teams, but I'm putting my money on:

Akira, Kage, Akira, Wolf, Kage = unfair /versus/images/graemlins/wink.gif

But there are so many other excellent looking teams on paper. I'm curious to see how team C.Chaps & Replays (pos.Akira, ShinZ, BunBun Maru, Joe, Kyasao) will do as well.

May 5th, 2003! Mark your calendars!

I could have sworn that Zero said that on IRC. Guess I misunderstood. I remember us talking about Kakuto Shinseki 2 and it coming up. Glad to see they haven't stopped. /versus/images/graemlins/smile.gif

There was this event called "VF3tb The Last Dance" back in 2001. While I've only watched a few of its matches (Probably about 2 months ago or so), it was really surprising and pleasing to see how more advanced the level of play was in comparison to The Maximum battle tourney (Which was gorgeous too; I used to watch it like everyday back then when I first got a hold of the tape). Most of the well-known players also showed up in The Last Dance. Are these matches from that event? I couldn't tell because when I dl any of those, Media Player tries to locate a codec or something then fails to dl it and I get sound only.

I remember seeing that combo from a Gamest VF3 combo clip, which had a lot of difficult OTB (on the bounce) combos. On the bounce combos were a lot harder in VF3 than in VF4, so the ability to techroll/quickrise wasn't as necessary back then. In VF3, OTB combos required a decent amount of practice, especially if they weren't being performed on Taka (at least for me, anyway /versus/images/graemlins/blush.gif).

KURITA (TAKA ARASHI) vs UMENOKOUJI GANdam (AOI).
ODOPAN Jeffrey (Jeffrey) vs KOKUOUGOU (KAGE).
    Sum (Jackie) vs CHIBITA (Rion).
Game center ARASHI (Jackie) vs SEGARU (wolf).
    MIKAN (Rau) vs HAKUSHONRAUMAOU (Rau)

Championship anticipation of my BT cup is KAN SAISANNOUKAI. MIKAN which changed the character into AKIRA is counted on. And CHIBITA and homestay AKIRA have been demoted in the game of the present title (KENSEI) of the merit highest. No1 Rau's KORYUU. I think that the victory can be won if these two persons ride on a wave.

If one more may be added, it will be expected as 2D HIDARIMAE Rengo
JOE (Jackie) said to be strong, OONUKI of the best layer of AOI and ITABASHIZANGIEFU regarded as the SHUN strongest, and recently especially these three persons are very cooperation.

True, and do you remember Lion's funky OTB combo on taka after the [3]+[P]+[G] This one was great but hella hard to pull off.
