    hmm...interesting, sure - but I don't really see how this is a problem of yours. /versus/images/graemlins/smile.gif

    Nonetheless, keep in mind that Chibita likely gets paid to play. He attracts people to play, and arcades will pay money for that marketing opportunity. Also, many of his matches are played in 100-man kumite events - on free play.

    Are those Lei vids on crack, or what? Am I the only one noticing they seem a lot faster than they should be?

    2004bay_06_0801 --> 1:18 new punches combo?

    2004bay_06_0802 --> 1:00 New bokutai move?

    I also like the wall stagger -> RO setup. I've been trying to land that lately, but to no avail.

    That's some amazing plays by Hanabi Lei. Wow

    Edit: Which one is right, Rei or Lei? The name says its HanabiRei? Is Leifei Reifei then? /versus/images/graemlins/confused.gif

    A couple of ranking notes:

    - Arashi's Jacky is 1st Black! Wow, that's really high. I wonder what his Goh is? It would be sad if his Goh had a lower rank...

    - Tsuchikumo is 2nd Black, like Chibita. Does this mean that Fudo had to beat Chibita and Tsuchikumo consecutively enough times to get to 3rd Black? Wow, that's impressive. I don't know why people don't give more props to Fudo.

    - It's a shame that some players chose to put their special rank on their primary card. I'd be really curious to know what kind of ranking Hanabi Lei, Yoro, Homestay, et. al. would have.

    - The top two ranked players in Japan are Lion players! Lion must be too strong, heh heh...

    Fudo is getting tons of reputation and spotlites in Japan. He's the one who once demoted Chibita from the 2nd Black down to 1st Black.

    There are quite many players with the 2nd black ranking in Japan last time I checked. Chofu KK sarah, Nuki, Tsuchikumo, Chibita, Edo(probabaly got demoted) and some more but can't remember.

    There was a recent Lion only tourney held by Chibita, and pretty much all well-known Lion players participated. Fudo won this one as well.

    Heruru won tougeki 1 with two girls on his team. (Not implying that girls are weak mind you).

    Next person to bitch, whine or seek sympathy for their character will make it onto my black list. /versus/images/graemlins/mad.gif

    Yanaga used to use Shun till Evo. I heard that he's switched to Pai in FT and is considered to be one of the two best Pai in Japan along with Tsuchikumo now.
