I'm not sure how limited their VF.net system is. It looks like they don't have access to any items (even though they have the card system), and I'm guessing the ranking system might be limited also. To what extent, I have no idea.

Korea has the card system only in its two major cities,

Pusan and Seoul. Since Korea doesn't have an actual

VF-net system like in Japan, players can't get items.

rank up higher than 10th dan, or have ringnames.

Some players with a ring name or items are those who

got their card from someone lives in Japan.

I heard Shinz and Moonsuk get cards with ring

names and items from Kasyao when they were over

in Japan for an event.

They got the items from Kyasao before Kakuto Sinseki II started. Before the semifinals began, there were the exhibition matches of them and Kyasao, which they showed off their items and outfits.

I hope they like what they choose for outfits, cause they won't be able to unfortunately change them for a good amount of time.

If there is any place other than Japan that is going to get VF.Net next, it is most definately major cities of South Korea, in Seoul there is of course much Starcraft being played, I wouldn't be surprised if VF became another popular hit there.....only time will tell.

Though nothing (as far as videogames go) is nearly as popular as Starcraft /versus/images/graemlins/tongue.gif is South Korea.

thats so funny that starcraft is so popular there, i heard the best players in it come from Korea(and most other RTSs i guess) but i personally didn't like Starcraft all that much, sure it was fun but not as good as some other RTS's
