Ah, I did not realize there was a detailed view of the commands. I was looking at Final Showdown command list and noted there were several of the crouching hits in the notes section. Did not realize that was encapsulated in another area of the command list in the REVO section.

I'm personally a big fan of pointing out unusual crouch properties etc. in the notes section to immediately draw attention to the fact that they exist. I don't think anyone is clicking through individual moves on the list to find out which ones do something you might not immediately expect.

For crouching hits, should data marked as "-" matching the corresponding standing hit frame data be filled? I.e. a standing hit resulting in +3 and a crouching hit also resulting in +3 but currently labeled as "-" should be changed to +3?

Also, is data about the type of crumple for different hits a good addition for the command list?

I've long been pondering ideas to effectively display more data at-a-glance without overwhelming the user. For example, maybe an 'advanced' view that exposes more columns (side and crouch data) such that it's also sortable as well. I've also considering displaying each command's data across two rows instead of one, but that introduces other challenges with the sorting function.

Anyway, if anyone has some ideas or can point to some good, existing examples for inspiration then I'd greatly appreciate it!

In short, yes. Frame data values of '-' are effectively a mistake with the import (the original source data had these "dashes" as well). In some cases, the dash means that the data was not applicable, but in other/many cases it just meant that the specific data for that situation is unchanged. The "fix" for this problem is to run a few SQL queries to remove all dashes from the frame difference fields.

I think this question comes up almost every major update/iteration in the VF series! If people are willing to provide this data for the entire cast, then I can update the lists! So yes, I think this would definitely add value above the default 'down'.

Personally, if there was a way to select which columns displayed as an advanced view, that would be perfect.

I’ve been thinking of a double row listing. I know the table would have to be adjusted with new visual language, but I think it should still skim well.

There might be opportunities for things like total frames to be listed on the row below execution but I can see arguments for or against that. The reason I am thinking of that is because that column is usually hidden in mobile portrait view.

I definitely would like the different crumple/stun hits to be in the data if possible

Also, while I'm here and being selfish, may I request the sorting on the columns to better collate the down, stagger, and "-" without jumbling in the middle of "0" entries? Currently, all four will be jumbled together making finding certain properties a bit more annoying.

The circular evades against Shun's Oushin feel like they're all listed backwards. Considering his chest is clearly pointing in one direction and his back to the other it just feels wrong that according to the movelist, his chest side is apparently his back and his ass side is his front :D

In addition to the new additions and corrections, I'm consolidating the Aoi frame data corrections/additions from my previous two posts for ease of entry. I tried to make sure to order the entries in order of the command list to make it easier to track.

Hasami Okuri (both versions) should be face up feet toward instead of face up head toward

I haven't tested the rising attacks crouch/side crouch NH/CH frame advantage.

Noticed that Goh 4K+G says "during whiff or hit recovers back turned" but it should just say "Recovers back turned" since it now causes the stagger on block instead of Goh getting his leg stuck on the opponents guard.

Would the VFDC admins consider creating an OTG (green) combo section in character combos?
