Here we go again, Sekaijin (SH) vs No-Card (AK).

Complete ghetto victory, as this guy was a no-card all i was hoping to do was land big combos and see the damage.

I win the fight, but i didnt really get to see much damage, so i guess we both failed.

end of round four is enough to justify kicking a hole in a wall somewhere.

I'm pretty sure it's kissa VS Chibita.

I heard everyone says Shun and Aoi are crazy strong. I'm not sure about Aoi, but yeah I think Shun is strong too.

Most of people who already played VF5R. And the VF5R's writers say it too.

That's I heard from my friends who lives in Japan.

It's pretty evident even from the few vids we've seen that Aoi and Shun are indeed up there. I still can't help but feel a lot of people are struggling against Shun because they just simply are not use to all of his numerous changes/additions, but he definitely looks strong regardless.

My same stance with Aoi too. We'll see how it all turns out. I don't really feel worried about balance in R so far, but am leary about some damage I've seen. Granted, some of the crazy damage things we've seen were shown in videos specifically shared to show what can happen and doesn't necessarily depict it happening often, but am still a little hesitant on a few things.

i agree. if anything i've thought b4 damage should be nerfed or health buffed. certainly not the other way around. actually i'd like to see health buffed and everyone got a little more mix-up game that forces people to master the game a bit more. Some of the heavy hitters certainly don't need their big combos damage increased. i dont like that at all.

It should be pointed out that Jeffry has always been able to get 90+ point damage in every iteration of VF; VF5R is no different.

if i recall correctly, jeff can do ~107 off a MC knee against lightweights and jacky

I think that the game has a history of massive damage combos. This is nothing new. Jeff can take a half-bar with a MC Knee, Akira used to be able to do the same with a deep bodycheck, Lau could take your entire bar away with the right Upkn float, Kage can ring you out with a TFT, etc etc etc.

Everyone's used to it and I doubt you'd ever see it changed.

Dayum, Pai 113 without wall? I haven't seen that one but that's too much. What's the combo?

Look @Tranjeff's combovideos in general. Headbutt > gtd 3k wallsplat etc doesn't look much fun either. There are pretty much big holes right now imo in damage and/or risk/payoff here and there which I hope they fix for the next version. Really want a national asap though.

hah just saw the 113 combo

its not very easy to land 466P+K I have never seen it in a match video, so its possible that the combo is impractical

Jacky has over 120 wall combo too.

I think it was 122(?) about 120. I found it 3 days ago in DOJO mode.

Ahhh, you mean it's a JEFF combo on PAI that takes 113 damage! Oh I'm OK with that. Jeff is all about big damage and like KtotheG stated, it's pretty damn hard to land /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/b.gif/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/f.gif/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/f.gif/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/p.gif+/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/k.gif on MC and Pai is a lightweight. I'm OK with that damage. In fact Jeffry could inflict similar damage with threat stance P-throw in VF4 against certain characters.

I thought you originally meant Pai, a character based on speed, safe strikes and range could inflict a 113 damage combo. Now THAT would be too much.

I don't know why people are so focused on the actual damage. I'm more concerned about characters that are able to get the 70-80 point combos with ease such as Shun and Jean. For Jean's awesome strikes should he have a knee combo that seems to work on everyone for 85 points?

    Actually mine is...

46P+K(CH)>46P+K(CH)>_6P(wall hit)>3K+G(check your feet) or 66K>4K+G>_6PP8P(wall hit)>66K>(might able to down attack)

about 120 DG. I don't think this combo will work for Wolf and Jeffery.
