Yeah 3S Sean got it probably the worst I have ever seen. Way I see it. If I want to play Sean and win with less effort I'll play NG and 2I. Not worth the effort in 3S. Props to him for being capable.

I have no idea how Kuroda plays 4. Not too much of a fan of the game myself. If I had to guess, I would assume he would at least have a decent Sagat.

Man looking at the Kuroda fight he is far from perfect. Alot of parry situations that went unpunished. Same for MOV. Sean 3S hurricane(and ex) is not safe.

Criticizing Kuroda or MOV for missing a few parries is like criticizing Chibita and Homestay for missing an evade. Kuroda is the best SFIII player ever.

Honestly I was thinking the same thing when I saw the match but I was like eh, nobody's perfect.

I wish there was more clips of Kuroda playing characters like 12, or that Guile type person, or Alex. That would be nice to watch.

Only thing that went through my mind when I first saw that was "Sean? Who the hek is that?". Kinda tripped out when I saw that he's some Ryu/Ken dude.

And what the hek is 2I?

I don't think so. He is a great player;no doubt, but I do not think because he can win with low tier character makes him great. I can play twelve, Q, and Sean and win. I have actually.

So I hold him at a higher standard. Maybe it was a casual match, but a missed opportunity is a missed opportunity. He had the low parry followed by a free low forward into whatever follow up; this happened a few times. Only time we punished was from parry fierce SA and that was at the end.

    Anyway guy is still good.

So what's up with the VF5R/SFIV DVD from SBO?

They are sold out at Play-Asia of the November issue of Arcadia (I assume because of people getting it for SFIV). The only other place that I can find that ships to the U.S. is Amazon.jp with it's fantastic shipping price of $40 for a magazine and DVD.

So other than piracy and Amazon.jp where am I going to get this year's SBO DVD for VF5R? Anyone know if Play-Asia is going to restock the November Issue? Or maybe someone in Japan could snag a bunch of copies and people from VFDC could reimburse him or her?

Either way Enterbrain/Arcadia sucks at doing anything for orders outside of Japan as usual.

Arcadia policy with the SBO DVDs makes me consider piracy.

Play-Asia restocked the November issue for Arcadia so I ordered one. I also pre-ordered next month's (3S and T6BR) issue as well.

I figure I'll do a writeup about the SFIV/3S DVDs for SRK and while I'm at it I'll do a VF5R one for this site.

I heard that the 3S matches this year were absolutely insane. With Kuroda playing Q as best as he ever has.

November 2009 has Street Fighter IV and Virtua Fighter 5R. December has 3rd Strike and Tekken 6BR. January 2010 has Blazblue and Fate Unlimited Codes. Feburary issue has Guilty Gear XX Accent Core and Sugoi! Arcana Heart 2.

Tatsunoko versus Capcom, due to licensing issues I'm sure, will not be getting a DVD. This disappoints no more than fifteen people worldwide.

Obviously if you are a VF fan then you need to get the November issue, and you luck out because you get the SFIV DVD with it. However the December issue that comes with Third Strike is going to be a must have for 3S.

Other than that, unless you're a hardcore Blazblue or Guilty Gear fan, you can probably safely pass on the remaining issues.

One thing to be certain of is that if you want the VF5R DVD you should get it now. I remember spending hoards of money on X-Mania and SBO DVDs back in the day because they never restock them. Because SFIV comes with the VF5R DVD it might be even harder to get down the road.
