VF5R Movies

    I've seen some moves recover better by 3 frames in a sideturned situation, so I'm guessing it scales by damage.

    I.e.:

    Weak attack (e.g. elbow): +3 recovery sideturne vs. front-facing

    Strong attack (e.g. yoho): +5 recovery sideturne vs. front-facing

    FYI Goh's basara/spod is also uncounterabe.

    side yoho is only -10??!!
    wow, it looks like Akira can mix up 46P+K+G,6P+K+G, and yoho more just like the video he did!! There is another huge combo coming after~~

    At 2:52 you see Goh [4][3][P][+][K] Sabaki against a low kick giving +51!?!? Did I see that right?

    Also worth watching are the other vids Ebigoh recently uploaded with this one.

    It seems like everyone would like to use low kick when the opponent is against wall.

    Goh's [6][6][P][+][G] is -8 too. Not as safe as I thought. From watching before I would've thought like -4 or 5.

    They may have changed the recovery from version A. I could be wrong.

    Yeah I wonder if that's to fix the problem where sometimes you sabaki a low move and Goh is out of range to do most of his follow ups. So I assume he can dash in now if the range is too far or it could be just that he sabaki'd very early or move dependent.

    El blaze's new mid launcher is only -11. I believe Kage can punish it but Goh cannot which I think ebigoh refers too.

    El blaze's [6][P] has been changed to 14f. Did they remove his [3][P] ? That's a good buff.

    Yeah, [6][P] is his elbow now. Thankfully they adjusted the stats on [6][P][K] as well, I've seen characters punish it with knee class launchers on block.

    Damn, have almost all of Jean's frame data now thanks to all these movies, good stuff.

    Actually, Burning Hammer's damage has stayed the same or possibly even increased. I always thought it was 80 in R ver. A but it's definitely 85 now, making it the single strongest front throw in the game.

    I remember burning was 100 before~
    80 was the giant in Ver.A

    Well, 85 is still powerful enough. Everyone should pay more attention to backword escape now~

    Nah, Burning Hammer has always done around 80 damage ever since it replaced KS in ver. A. I think you're getting confused with Burning Driver which has the same command but it's a back throw with a different animation and looks like it does 100 points of damage (I remember seeing a vid where Wolf did [K]+[G] on sideturned opponent into Burning Driver for about 127, hence why I'm assuming it does that much). Also, Burning Hammer escape is [6]+[P]+[G] because the command is 270[6]+[P]+[G].

    F-5 which has the 270[4]+[P]+[G] command has been reduced to 70.
