    Yes, it's basically this reason. Koedo also mentioned this in his blog here: http://ameblo.jp/koedo-blog/entry-10283989935.html

    In that Homestay vs. Koedo movie, Koedo blocked low because he knew that if Akira hit the 1K and side hit him into the wall, it's a free 50% combo.

    I got it, his purpose was to do that low kick in order to process the fellowing wall combos. I thought he needed that specific angle to do wall combos.

    I noticed that point when I first saw this video. So right now after Akira's 42P+G, the opponent's position considered as a side one? or just for this case?
    Actually Homestay could easily use 246P instead of 1k to get some wall combos guaranteed right? It's too bad he failed otherwise I would like to see what's gonna happened after that low kick.

    It's not a side turned situation, it's just the positioning after the throw was like that. Koedo recognized that he was off angle against the wall, so a 1K would send him into wall stun.

    But Homestay could use 246P guarantee right? The way he used low kick was try to gain some more damage wall combos?

    Well, it is guaranteed if your timing is spot on. Not saying Homestay's timing sucks, but there is always that possibility that his timing may be SLIGHTLY off and Koedo would've blocked the double palm, resulting in a counterattack. In this situation 1K was the second best option and something that isn't bound by strict timing... and he probably thought Koedo wouldn't be blocking low.

    I thought the double-palm was canned after 42P+G - no strict timing required - just enter 246P before it's too late. Is it different now? I realize that it can be blocked, and I thought that was all up to the guy struggling.

    i find it funny that Fuudo refuses to customize his Lion. It's been plain Jane since vanilla 5. hehehe [​IMG]

    I'm sure he has all sorts of crazy stuff unlocked... either he is just not interested or I guess no customization is his interest???

    Yeah. Although at the last SBO his lion had pink hair for some reason..

    He's probably racked up tons of gold as well...

    I don't blame him, I still think the customs in this game aren't very good. Especially when you compare to Tekken.

    What Terra said is true if you're basing it on the USA versions of VF5 where its extremely limited. The good customizations we will never get to use anyways.

    I have a feeling that when Tekken 6 comes out it will have all the options that are available straight from the arcade and it will not cheat its fanbase out of cool features especially with the use of downloadable content

    T6BR customizations are better than the VF5R ones... trust me, they are better, and more importantly they're easier to attain.

    whao.. Jacky full circular mid kick isn't punishable now man that's pretty strong..just noticed its -10 only on side guard hit on normal guard its still -15

    Yeah on side guard the disadvantage is lower, but you can't attack as quickly because you are turned away from the opponent. I don't know how fast you can attack while you are sideturned, but whenever I am in those situations it feels like FOREVER before I can actually attack.
