Wow, Jacky's /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/b.gif/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/f.gif/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/k.gif actually does decent damage now. A much needed buff.

 

Yep, its been buffed up big time. I bet when switchenationer sees that video hes gonna want to play jacky in R over shun.

 

I think open stance beatknuckle on CH is going to be amazing for Jacky lol. Saw a Jacky do it in closed stance on accident but he went for 6_KG, 3P+KP. So... if you can do beat knuckle, into 6_KG, 3P+KPK... that's going to be BEASTLY damage for what type of punish that is haha.

Also, I may be imagining things, but I believe they shortened the distance you knock opponents back off of paksao. Saw a Jacky paksao and baaarely dash forward into 46K+G, being able to get it to connect. Could be I haven't gone for that in awhile, but I swear you needed at least a full dash-link's approach to be able to do that.

i just download the lei vs jacky match to my ps3 hard drive place arrow on link press triangle go to file, click save target and it will save in hdd video. it works with all video .wmv

I wonder if there's a way to change all of the BGM to VF2/VF3 tunes. The proliferation of the alternate music almost seems to indicate that AM2 knows as well as we do how much the VF5R music sucks!

(Man, remember when VF3 was considered the weakest VF soundtrack? THOSE WERE THE DAYS)

 

There's no accounting for taste but I actually like VF5R music! Better on the whole than VF5 or VF4.

I'll agree to disagree with you. I really, really dig some of the tracks in R. Not all of them, granted, but a good handful I really like. Plus, fighting game music (along with voices) tend to become more acceptable once you've heard them for 1,000 plus matches /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/laugh.gif

So far, I only like a few tracks (3 or 4) for VF5r but I also only really liked a few of the VF5 ones as well. Blaze, Sarah, Shun and Akiras.

 

The thing is, its actually good to have the music tracks relatively bland. If there are tracks that stand out, even if you think you like it, someone else may not and hearing it 100s of times in versus you easily start to hate it..

That said, R music is better than 5. (i have to go back to see if 5 even has music or have I turned it off, I dont remember..)
