Looks like they gave Jeffry's "Go to sleep" throw a new angle.

 

Goh's /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/df.gif/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/p.gif+/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/k.gif successfull sabaki gives +12 advantage.

In closed stance a throw is guaranteed, no need for delay if you buffer the throw. You will hear Goh say a different phrase to tell you which foot position you are in. In open stance the throw can whiff due to distance. This has been the properties of the move since Goh debuted in Evo.

Most people just do /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/p.gif/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/k.gif when they catch with it because its guaranteed damage.

Is Koedo's Jean the strongest in VF5R?

 

Looks like it, Fu~do put up a decent fight and he's thought to be the same league, but Koedo's vids are making him looking really impressive.

 

Koedo is considered the best player in VF right now overall. There aren't many people who have played as many games as he has and still maintaining a near 80% win rate.

 

Those Two players are Star Players, and the list has not been changed, I think, since March 2.

Fuudo is quite the alrights, but I still get more of a kick out of watching Chibita play.

 

It shows as a combo in dojo only when you do the delay though. I dont think anybody knows why. (Im wondering why no-one talks about complex input causing extra 1f delay now)

Also, the delay (with a dash) throw is guaranteed in both stances.

 

I hope you don't mind if I play devil's advocate, but don't he and pretty much every other VF player with character specific channels only(I can only think of Reno as an exception) upload matches they win?

 

Yeah, It's a bit annoying as I'm sure there any many good matches where they lose.. Oh well

Sorry, but if I was fighting someone of the calibre of Fuudo or Koedo, and I beat them 3 - 0, I would for fucking sure save that and upload it for everyone to see, so I can understand why Koedo puts up all those squash matches.

 

Plus, games can be 3-0 and still be considered close.

Sometimes cool events happen in matches you win, them's the breaks.

 

Nope, not me either, infact I lose more then 50% of the matches I upload.
