Why is it that vf5R has the american words for Round 1, and Replay, etc on the screen when it is played primarily in Japan?

It's a good point you bought up there though, I thought VF was primarily a game for the Japanese... pretty strange. A lot of games use English though, regardless of where most copies are sold.

 

We use simple English words in general.
We all know (well, most of people) how to count one to ten.
same as "ready" or whatever.

And I dont think we have fit word for "Round 1" or something like that in Japanese.

Is this make sence?

@0:18 You can see that when you wake up without a rising attack you can actually do so crouching unlike VF5 now. If you don't do a rising attack now there's a small window where you can get thrown and not be able to duck but as you can see here, that's not the case any more /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/smile.gif
