VF5R Movies

    I wasn't familiar with the changes to Goh in VF5R so I re-read the VF5R Goh Changes thread in the arcade forum.

    Apparently the tsukami is now a special low attack (not special mid as Jide mentioned a few posts ago). If it were special mid, then I'd expect it to clash against a standing throw.

    Being special low explains why it can be guarded standing and crouching, as well as why it beats a normal throw since it won't clash (low attacks don't clash with standing throws).

    My comment regarding "the way it connects" refers to the fact that it used to be a catch throw, but is now a special low attack. Hence, the conditions for it landing successfully have changed.

    Sorry if I caused any confusion.

    Its a high attack, same speed as his current guardbreak, and the damage is about same as succesful Standing palm combo after his high guard break. It doesnt change his overall strength at all basically. Apart from being possible on the heavy characters. Just a cosmetic thing... I REALLY wish they would have kept his old /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/df.gif/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/p.gif+/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/k.gif+/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/g.gif instead, about 100 times more important.

    Instead, Akira is being made even more difficult to play efectively. Sigh.

    If lowpunchcut to switch is indeed +15, then you it should be able to do a 10frame dash delay to a 0-frame backthrow. You have 5 frames window.

    I hate to do this, but does anyone happen to know of a match where Lion uses his throw that has him shout "My time is here!!!"

    I've been looking for a while now, but no luck. If someone happens to know one of the top of their head I'd love to find out where.

    From 1:34 to about 1:56 - That Jacky put on a TE Clinic. I loved every minute of that shit.

    And I also notice that it seems guarantee 33K after Jacky's 46P+K CH???

    yea my guess is because the input for 33K is now 6k so the move comes out faster

    I love how in VF when a player feels power they just change thier whole approach to the battle. Jacky was very aggressive and Sarah Weathered the storm and he was scared to attack because of the defense. Nice Battle.

    I don't even know they change the input to 6K.
    And that combos take around 90 damages!!!
    Jacky is a monster now!!

    It was already guaranteed in VF5 Ver.C, giving +17 on CH. The difficulty was that you had to do /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/df.gif/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/df.gif/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/k.gif with the fastest input (no frame waste) in order to combo.

    As Denkai mentioned, since the input has changed to /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/f.gif/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/k.gif in R, then you won't waste any frames on the crouch dash, so it has become easier to followup in this situation.

    I see, maybe that why I never see this in Ver.C.
    So do they cancel the original 6k in R?? I think the animation for 6k is only for Jacky's win pose~~~Haha~

    I remember back in socal when we was trying to connect 33K after a counter hit P+K (back turned). The move connects if you enter 33K extremely fast but now since its just 6K that should be easier to do also..oh wait P+K (back turned) crumbles on hit now darn it

    Yeah, darn it.. You can do a 10f dash to a 0frame throw now in VF5 /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/crazy.gif
