WTF i just realised that, at the part when vane evaded sarah's /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/d.gif /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/k.gif + /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/g.gif, her DS /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/df.gif /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/p.gif /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/k.gif /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/g.gif low throw did 60 damage instead of 55 /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/eek.gif Did her low throws get a damage boost or is this the "throws do more damage on CH" thing? /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/shocked.gif

Hmmm, i visited acebreaker's youtube page to double check on the low throws damage and it appears he's just uploaded a new vid /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/smile.gif

Hmmm, DS /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/b.gif /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/d.gif /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/p.gif + /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/g.gif throw now does 48 instead of 35 damage...

Also, the announcer says "combo body blow knee" so apparently the new OS /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/f.gif /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/p.gif /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/k.gif is a HIGH KNEE /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/crazy.gif sweet she's got 2 of them now, boy this is a good day, don't mind me, i'm just a raving fanboy /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/blush.gif

 

I heard something like they do less damage when they aren't guaranteed or more damage in guaranteed situations, that's only thing I can think of.

 

On mC, throws get a damage bonus iirc.

 

I believe the recovery damage for throws were only in early test versions.

The reason Vanessa's throws does 60 and 48 is that they removed the guaranteed down attacks from those throws and incorporated that damage into the throw itself.

 

Great play on Homestays part. I liked how he used 236 p+k at the end of his spod wall combo, I always think to use knee. Alot of good use of simple attacks and guard breaks as well.

SOP. Althought it appears that in VF5R she doesn't keep running to the end of the frickin' stage like she does in now - unfortunately acebreaker's flashy wakeup games just don't seem to work in vanilla VF5 - GOD i'm looking forward to VF5R.
