    That's a very interesting concept - could you elaborate on that some more please?

    Well Brad is clearly designed to be a striking character, and his damage pound for pound on his hits are pretty buff. Much like Jean in this sense. I really feel throws with Brad just serve as mixup, rather than for damage purposes.

    To me, one of Brad's biggest weaknesses is that there's very little reason to ever block low against him or risk ducking while on defense. You can pretty much block high during all of his slipping and ducking with the exception of his guard break punch out of LD and that low punch out of that phasing turn. But Brad players can acknowledge this weakness and turn it into an advantage if the opponent isn't quick to react, by doing say, ducking into throw, SR into throw, etc. Those throw setups will usually result in a 0f situation, especially if the opponent isn't playing with an active defense during Brad's dancing around.

    So my take on it all, is that's one reason why we don't see stronger throws from Brad. They're still very much apart of his offense, not saying they're useless or anything, but that's why they tend to be among the weaker throws in the game.

    EDIT: @ Biggz, that wall combo Jacky did in that Jacky Vs. Sarah match was sick! Thanks for pointing that out.

    Basically, every throw from slipping and ducking is a 0 frame throw. Brad has a lot of opportunities to land throws, therefore his throws should not be a damaging as Wolf/Jeffry who have to work harder to land their throws because an opponent will be expecting them.

    Not to mention he has throws that create Nitaku situations or insane punishment and set ups.

    No character lacking a KG cancel can even be considered as one of the strongest in setting up 0f throws. No crouchthrow doesn't exactly help either. Slip/duck cancel > throw is overrated against someone who knows what they're doing imo. I do agree that his throws are mostly mixups though and he very nice combo/wallpotenial etc.

    His PK can be G canceled though, which to me applies even more pressure and ability to apply a 0f throw than a straight up KG cancel.

    Well I really feel you're wrong. Using KG to make people evade, beat fuzzy and in Oki to make them stand etc is totally different from a PKG cancel in function. But let's leave the argument aside and keep the thread about VF movies as it's going way off topic.

    Discussion with KiwE<div class="ubbcode-block"><div class="ubbcode-header">Warning, Spoiler: <input type="button" class="form-button" value="Show" onclick="if (this.parentNode.parentNode.getElementsByTagName('div')[1].getElementsByTagName('div')[0].style.display != '') { this.parentNode.parentNode.getElementsByTagName('div')[1].getElementsByTagName('div')[0].style.display = '';this.innerText = ''; this.value = 'Hide'; } else { this.parentNode.parentNode.getElementsByTagName('div')[1].getElementsByTagName('div')[0].style.display = 'none'; this.innerText = ''; this.value = 'Show'; }" /></div><div class="ubbcode-body"><div style="display: none;">I think this is a good discussion, but yeah, we're diverting a bit for a video thread, so I'll keep this short. I'll take it to PMs with KiwE if I have anymore questions after this.

    Those KG examples are great uses of KG but those aren't 0f throw situations, which is what we're talking about. Unless they fuzzy into nothing but standing, or ukemi into standing. With PKG you can hit check or get people to go on the defensive while maintaining options out of it. One of which would be a 0f opportunity if they lock up expecting more to your assault.

    EDIT: Sorry if it felt like I was trying to get the last word in an internet argument here lol, wasn't the case. I know you have more time in with Brad than practically everyone here so I have a lot of respect for that and am reserved in stating my opinion on this without hearing others out. I may very well be wrong so new players reading this, don't take my conversations too seriously, but this is an obvervation I've made from seeing him in many matches and playing both against Brad and playing as him.</div></div></div>
    Pretty sure it's like Wolf's RAW. Not sure how it works exactly but think I've seen it eat both high and mid punches. Reno or someone else will be able to explain it well.

    It's Taka's :b:+/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/p.gif+/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/k.gif+/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/g.gif ... good against mid-elbows and punches, but not against multi-hits. (i.e. You can use it against Jacky's elbow but if he continues his string you're gonna get owned)
