Well i'm not familiar with combos for most of the characters but 70ish damage from a move that leaves you at slight advantage if it's blocked sounds kinda stupid to me.

I saw 65ish damage from standing palm for major counter hits - that's not really different from version C. Are you seeing 70 dmg in normal / recovery hit situations? Also, am I misremembering, or did they change it so it isnt advantage on block in R ?

You talking about the 46p> p> p> 3346p on Lau? Didn't notice that was counter thought it was normal hit... explains it a bit more. We need this game so we can check this stuff out, haha.

If the damage is that high, I hope they did change it so standing palm doesn't give advantage on block.

Edit: Anyone know if that new 2 hit punch string of Akiras is half circular at all? Looks like one hit is half circular to the front then the other hit towards the back to me. That would be damn useful!

agreed, but that PLAYER is just amazing constantly taking advantage of his situation right away every Fn' time, no break; the whole fight what very tight. I wish I could read the name of that guy in Japanese.

Offhand I would say it's Glorious eileen, but whoever it is, this guy is one of the best eileen players I've ever seen.

 

The Eileen player is Toyopon, he's a 58 year old dude from Niigata (2hr north of Tokyo) according to VF.net...

Either eileen gets more frames now after her 6P+G6 throw to allow her to connect with 3P guaranteed or the wolf player just ducked and got hit, though from how he was playing I imagine he would fuzzy guard not just straight up duck if anything so I'm leaning toward believing she have more frames after this position switch throw.

Haha @ 1:12. Not only is that move good to repeat on normal hit, it looks exactly like what Bruce Lee did in Enter the Dragon.
