VF5R Movies

    Hey, for anyone that followed T6 and it's release...Is anyone getting flashbacks back to when all those Death Combos(For all characters) were discovered? lol

    Seriously, this is really getting out of hand, I really don't see any justification for this stuff...Except for Sega trying to garner more fans by selling out to Japan's "Combo-Heavy" craze...

    ^Agrees w/ this...I think 3D fighters would be much better off without juggles, but hey, that's just me...

    They just need to scale the damage back and it will be fine. I don't mind what they do to try to bring new players to the game just as long as they don't add fucking yoda and darth vader.

    ^Or maybe a damage cap, at 100 pts. possibly? Something like that would work I suppose...

    Please continue to discuss the issue of high damage in R there, and leave this thread for movie posts.

    Why ? Is it the fact that it turns automatically ? wasn't it already like that in VF5, can't remember.

    Bitchnationer, I think fast strings might be universally guaranteed on Taka in a recovery counter hit situation? I'm inclined to think this because Kage's PP4PK is an example. So I think that entire sequence was really guaranteed. Poor fatty!

    Chibitox, Yeah, I didn't think it turned automatically?

    Deadly move did turn like that in VF5, but the speed of attacks coming out has been improved. That new throw is super quick!

    The run itself hasn't changed at all. When Wolf approaches his opponent with Deadly Move, if he hasn't attacked he'll do a short animation as he goes past. If you perform any Deadly Move attack at any point during that animation, he'll turn and face the opponent while doing the attack. If he does an attack before the animation starts or after it finishes, then he doesn't turn towards the opponent.

    The only changes to Deadly Move in that video is the knee, which now does the knockdown stagger instead of forced crouch.

    The Jacky player does a really neat combo at the end that I hadn't seen yet. Oh and its the first time I have seen someone actually use the new costume.
