Extended version was on vf1 saturn as with all the songs. The arcade ver. was the original. I have remix and vf1. They are different from the arcade. So I was actually originally right.

The issue is that most people have never played the original VF1 in the arcade to know the theme. I can tell you first hand that the bgm featured in the video is indeed the original. It's a little different in that it probably had to be composed again, but it's definitely the original rendition.

 

Yeah besides back in the day, music was barely even heard in arcades with all the noise drowning with other games going on.At least it did for us.
