VF5R Movies

Yeah, the popularity would jump, no doubt about it but I don't think it would be long before it sunk into the same situation we are in now.

When VF5 first came out on the 360 the online play was great, there was a lot of people and I didn't have any trouble getting matches at all.

After about a month that was almost completely gone, I now have to arrange matches here if I intend to play.

It would be the same if VF5R came out. It would be awesome for a few weeks then we would be right back here in terms of activity.

The best we could hope for is for some more players to stick around.

not sure if this has gone up, but a really great fight. Combos, mind games, tactics... especially the last two rounds. Gonna watch it again actually

 

2007 sep VF5 dropped on 360 Because that Febuary of 2008 Somehow VF5R came out lol!!

Also seems as if his 66k+g hitboxes are a bit further. Almost like the tip of the foot connects now.

The Eileen is a CPU, hence why it's refusing to tech roll.

 

Did anyone notice that the combo counter won't count after the 99 hit?

 

A lot of fighting game combo counters stop at the 99 hit mark. Only two I can think of off the top of my head that go into triple figures are MvC2 and Hokuto no Ken.

Xiangfei also has a special 100 hit counter for one of her moves in most SNK games she appears in, but the combo counter for everyone else stops at 99.

That combo from the guard break in round 1 is awesome, even gets a max charged 46p+k in there

Damn, JN has an amazing performance~

Due to my lacking knowledge of R, it seems like even his attack is blocked, the distance is still not allowed to punish him....
Plus his strikes come out so fast and finish on mid which means opponents are not able to crouch at the end.....And I haven't seen anyone evade his strikes yet either....

 

Jean is really safe, you really don't have to use any punishable moves at all, although he is usually beyond -6 on block not allowing him to fuzzy.

 

Just a question for you Jeneric: I noticed in many video, players don't try to do the Crouched fuzzy guard... is there a reason, like sega changed the frame for the crouching or is it just something i can't immagine?

 

I know I shouldn't compare Koedo's JN with others cuz he belongs to top player. He absolutely realize JN's capable of and use it in a proper way. Although JN has beyond -6 on block, however the distance is not allowed to punish him back and don't even mention to throw him instead. Does he really need fuzzy? I'm curious.

I believe there must be a solution against JN but it requires more challenge. I'll pay more attention on JN's videos next time, he is amazing.
