    Seems like it.

    I'll write something once I've "decompressed".</div></div>

Wait. What low punch inashi? You mean the downward elbow low sabaki? Cause I know that move is still in, but has it lost its deflect properties? I'm confused. (please excuse the ignorance)

If those are real, wasn't Shang's quiz question wrong? [IMG]

EDIT: er wait, yours isnt a combo, it involves pickup.
(Im saying that the vid I posted might be a false combo as well but I can't tell from here, whereas Wolfs pickup is 100% certainly not a combo.)

well, not only a combo, but two throws... you got three chances to escape that. :X But still funny

i just have to say that Jean is a complete badass. every time i watch a vid of R involving a Jean player, a part of me dies inside knowing that i'm deprived of learning that badassery for myself until SEGA gets their collective head out of their ass and releases R for the 360...

I don't understand why you need throw escape when you are doing fuzzy? Any particular circumstance?

Well it would make sense if it was a low throw escape [IMG]

What I realize the purpose of fuzzy is to avoid throw and attack, so I don't understand why he was doing throw escape by fuzzy?

Manjimaru, I think your idea sounds reasonable but I doubt is that possible to release "P" and "K" at the same time by holding "G" without any wrong input, plus the fuzzy window is too strict to react that fast for a human I guess.

I believe that fuzzy TEG is so you can defeat delay throw as well as buffered throw.

Remember if you fuzzy guard and your opponent delays the throw that throw 0 frames so I'm guessing that fuzzy TEG is designed to beat that option.

Or you could just stay crouched for longer [IMG]

If you delayed the high throw so that it coincides with the same attack frames as a mid level attack then you must defensive option select those two attacks with the new throw escape hold guard.

If you remain crouched to avoid a delayed high throw then you aren't using fuzzy guard correctly and you'll end up eating a mid level attack should your opponent do one.

The idea of this new technique is to neutralize moral (or immediate) high throws and mid attacks (using traditional fuzzy) and to escape a single delayed high throw while remaining guarded (using the new throw escape guard input).

So this technique basically takes fuzzy guarding and adds an additional throw escape to its defensive prowess. Unless I'm missing something.

Thanks for the answer, and it sounds pretty make sense.
However, that Shun was doing throw escape immediately so how could he avoid the delay throw?? Well, the video doesn't really show the situation we discuss (that wolf either attack or throw right away after block) so I don't really know what's the purpose he was trying to demonstrate.

If he was trying to do the low throw escape, that will be incredible!!

Hell I'd use that technique, do you know how many times Plague mixes up immediate mid/throw and delayed mid throw? SDE+FFT=BEATDOWN!!

The way I guess that this new technique works is that you can enter a throw escape command from disadvantage and hold guard down afterward. For as long as you hold guard down, you'll be able to block high, and escape that one throw.

So you see the player in disadvantage immediately entering a throw escape command, holding it down, and then waiting for a delayed throw. When a delayed throw comes, he's already entered his escape command before he started fuzzy guarding, and the throw comes out and gets escaped (providing the correct direction was escaped).

What is this technique called? Held Escape Guard? Throw Escape Guard Hold?
