Vids from my trip of me playing Jean, Vanessa and a little Jacky against famous players, not so famous players and a few combo takes vs the CPU. I also commented your video, but i want to say here again:
Here i saw in the last round the Akira's dmpk and it doesn't side slam the opponent anymore, at least on normal hit (I didn't see any yellow light so i guess was normal hit). Can you confirm that?

 

Yup, it now keeps you standing on normal hit, if I remember correctly it staggers if it hits you crouching. Maybe it knocks down on counterhit, dunno. Don't see that move that often.

 

Crazy good stuff Jeneric, I was surprised you could hang with the best (Koedo/Chibita/Jin to name a few) with only a couple hundred games in the version of VF you don't have much experience in, I can only imagine how good you are in VF5 vanilla. Jeneric, your a tough Swedish bastard.

I like your last match better though, no frills, just elbows and paint-by-numbers play.

BTW Jeneric, is her DS low punch inashi still there? Also does her new russian Hook still have tech-crouch properties? We're impatiently waiting for your gameplay insights in the VF5R vane thread!

EDIT: Also for those who subscribed to Magryu in youtube and are wondering why Magnum hasn't uploaded anything there for 7 months it's because he uploads here for now on. This is probably old news to most people but I never knew until now! There's lots of version A matches against top players and also Version B ofc as well.

The damage is like 4 points more than Akiras max damage in VF5.. But using DE in an aircombo made raise an eyebrow. Not the move I would first associate to a refloat.

 

Wow, that second hit after the / caused a wall splat lol. Fuck it, why not huh hahah. I'm loving his new moves too, can't say that enough. Looks like they have a lil evade/ducking type properties to them and it's cool to see he has a lil poke move now that maybe goes under highs and possibly even beat a 2p. Almost seems unfair. Honestly though I just wanna bust out that new 2 piece he's got (the half circular looking hooks) lol.

And on top of all that, if I remember seeing it right in one of the vids here, he can do 46P, P, 66KK on Wulf. Pretty wild stuff. I wonder how many of these combos will be gone due to changing hitboxes and floating when they get to the future versions of the game, if any will be gone at all.

In vids, i've noticed it's used quite a lot recently. Especially in SDE combo's. like > > .

It's same exe as dblplm but it recovers faster, I guess that's why it's being used a lot over dblplm as an ender.
