VF5R Lei Fei Changes

    I have nothing against changes done to Lei. His new PPP will just mean that I'll have to use other moves/means to go into Doku and Hai. I haven't used PPP that much anyway, except in some combos.

    yeah, the new /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/f.gif/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/k.gif+/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/g.gif looks a bit like Lau's move and it seems to replace the old /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/f.gif/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/k.gif+/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/g.gif.
    This move was one of the moves that allowed going directly into Ura-nehan shiki, however now it doesn't go into any stances.

    I am sure that Lei's gonna be as fun to use as he was, if not even more. /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/wink.gif

    The old /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/f.gif/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/k.gif+/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/g.gif is fucking useless, IMO.

    -3 on guard, yet your opponent gets a free /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/p.gif.

    That means he still got his stance switching, they just didnt use it in the replays /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/laugh.gif


    Ok leis changes are really nice:
    1. PPP (HHM) & P6PP is his old PPP /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/laugh.gif
    2. new 4K, its the toe kick that looks a bit like shuns and old 4K got changed to 4K+G (at least I really hated doing 4K)
    3. 6P+KPP got an extra P, after 6P+K you can go with P+K+G into hai shiki & 6P+KP P+K+G into ura nehan shiki
    4. new 1K+G high atk
    5. Dokuritsu KP double mid! goes to hai shiki
    6. Dokuritsu P+K with on hit P+G
    7. new 6P+G
    8. new 66P+G wall throw

    cons
    1. Nehan P & P+K don't seem to go into stance anymore

    rest looks like the same

    from the vids:
    2_6P does PB now instead of doing cr.s

    6P+KP has that new animation where he waves his arms

    6K+G is that double mid kick now

    PPP looks like 66P, so it does H hit H hit M hit PB

    1P+K is now like laus 3P+K, thats why 4P+K got the bounce
    (with the 1P+K gone lei seems to be pretty vulnerable to 2P now hope 236P+K or 6K+G is vs 2P now)

    DOKU P+K is now a punch in the abdomen

    Over all lei's changes are rally nice and they replaced the bad moves with really nice ones ^-^ Even the nerfs are good. I hope DM P+KP is like doku P+K. They didn't change him as drastically as I thought. So I still can play hime like I used to /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/laugh.gif

    That's because it puts you into a stance from which you can't actually guard! (unless you cancel the stance and enter a position you can guard from, wasting frames) /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/laugh.gif

    You can always pres /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/d.gif/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/d.gif to go into Sui /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/wink.gif This way you can at least avoid any high retaliation. :p

    Well, OK, I admit, the move is useless on guard. I never actually used it in a serious match anyawy, lol. I really like the new /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/f.gif/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/k.gif+/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/g.gif though /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/wink.gif

    i use his old 6k+G for oki , very good special high half circular but horrible if it whiffs or guarded
