VF on the freeway...

Managed to have a tire MC'd on the way home. GG to Pinetree, Dennis0201, Tricky, and HowBoutSum for quick change to the spare.

Whatever we hit, everyone else couldn't ETEG it either. I swear we saw twelve other vehicles stopped. Many got combo'd: they lost two tires each.

 

It was nice meeting everyone at the party and it was a great party. It was a honor to meet in person akai, LA Skies, Fuudo and many others of the canvases

 

From SDS to the Participants of the Pre-Release...

Im Proud of you all for holding your own and competing against the best of the best in VF5:Final Showdown on the big stage. Whether you won a round, Game or not.. You all played strong within the little bit of time you had to freshen up. It gave me great hope that we are on the right path toward closing the gap albiet slightly.. I enjoyed watching everybody on the stream. Shout to Shirt for Getting his shit off and taking a victory lap lol!! I would've done the same shit follow by a windmill into a flare. Shout out to Tricky for showing improvement and heart, Shout out to Myke for coming back strong on the stream after Shadowloo. Shout outs to Chefboy,Shag,Goatchese, Zero-Chan,Paul and whoelse i may have forgot.. Keep that shit up and Keep Pushing!!! Final showdown or Bust!!

 

LOL. I had no idea you were writing on VFDC from the cafe. Gotta say, that was a fast 3 hours. I had a blast, folks! thanks for being around.

For anyone that couldn't make the event, I hope you enjoyed the stream. Sega, Levelup, Iam8bit know how to throw a party. and I couldn't be more grateful to Gerald, Alex Lee, Mai, Alex Valle, Shidosha, Myke, and everyone that made this happen. VF, and our community deserves this kind of attention and I was very happy to be witness to a truly historic event. Of course, big thanks to Fuudo and Chibita, they were really classy and patient.

The entire event was unreal and I ended up watching more than getting in front of the machines the way I likely should have but it was a really amazing opportunity to just soak up information and tap into the community energy like nothing I've ever experienced before.

The stream chose some bad camera angles which was a real shame because when you watch the event you just cannot get a real sense of the crowd. They kept cutting to the least busy part of the entire room (oddly enough, the open bar ) and it really doesn't show how crowded and hopping the place was. Sega has pulled out all of the stops, they see us and they are choosing to be present. I hope people can put the past behind them and just focus on this fantastic and unprecedented support.

Get behind the game, support your local community, build and nurture your scene because 6 months down the road we're going to need everyone's passion to keep up our end of the deal.

Thanks SEGA. you are doing amazing things.
