VF5FS Pre-Release Party Attendee List

I will be there, I RSVPed and all that.
Working that day but hopefully I can leave around 6 PM so I can get to the venue on time.

I spoke to Valle and it sounds like running a side tournament is not gonna happen. They are concerned a tournament would take up to many stations and cause some people to be unable to try the game out. There main focus is giving everyone there the opportunity to play the game, and to showcase some high level fights on a main stage.

On the plus side it sounds like there will be plenty of consoles on hand for all of us to play casuals on. So those that were worried we'd only be watching others play against Fuudo and Chibita can rest easy.

I'm going to arrive at LAX at 11:59 PM. Still need a place to crash unless I can sleep at the terminal or something. I'm down for whatever.

 

Anyone fron the East Bay area/SF area driving down? I just received an invite 30mins ago. Id be willing to split the costs (gas, hotel) if anyone is.

Just my luck. Turns out I'll be busy tomorrow, right in the middle of the day. Who the hell plans something 11am-2pm on a Saturday?

That sucks but maybe for the better since my girl who also got an invite is looking into catching a flight there instead. Hopefully this works out and if anything I'll see you at the next STA tourney

 

OK. Catherine and I are gonna be bringing PineTree and Tricky to the party. We're gonna show up at the location between 7:00 and 7:30. Party is 8:00 to 11:00. There is talk of going to Roscoe's Chicken and Waffles after the event... 1514 N Gower St Los Angeles, CA 90028

Right now, Tricky and PineTree will be at my place starting around 11:00 am tomorrow. We all plan to leave my house in my van by 4:00 pm and stop for dinner on the way. Could be Frisco's. Could be somewhere else.

If anyone wants to meet before the event, let me know. This means that you are planning something and asking me to bring people there. Please provide a time and location.

If I change things up, I will post in this thread.

Just noticed the start time changed from 7 pm to 8 pm. Suddenly have a lot more time to kill than I had originally intended. Like many others, I'd be interested in meeting before the party. Will check this board tomorrow to see if any kind of definitive plans have been made. Not very familiar with the LA area, so I need to know where I'm going before I leave the apartment.

Cool Chief_Flash I might join up with you guys after the event. I am going to add all of you on xbox live right now. I am so looking forward to meeting you all and playing friendly matches with everybody. Let's make this even memorable. Because for all we know Sega could go out of business in future and we could look back at these fun events and smile. I recommend everyone to bring a camera to take pics.
