Hold the input during the replay until it finishes. I think it's random online though, but it works offline.

Doesn't work. Other directions didn't work either.
Ball and ladder worked even online, though.

 

Some flag cost 2pts and some 3pts.
Only 3pts flags work.

Read a few posts up. It appears winposes are random online.

The triggers work 100% offline.

 

Do all the flags have poses? Or is it just certain ones.

Random only online? Durnit.

 

In my experience, holding 8+G after a match always makes Brad use his phone online. The only exception is when the opponent doesn't appear to have the DLC (using a default costume) or my friend who only purchased Jean and Kage DLC.

So I'd say that it is a DLC thing. Also remember that a guy with DLC for his character might have just purchased a one-chara package, meaning not everyone with a custom outfit will let you use your win pose. I believe this is what makes folk believe it is random.

I mean really, is VF known for being random?

Also make sure you're holding the corresponding inputs before the replay starts. Holding it during the replay doesn't seem to work.

 

i believe you can activate your item's win pose online manually only if the opponent has the character pack for your character.

 

A lot of the items seem pretty random, I'd say.

 

It does not matter if the second player has the DLC or not.

I was pretty sure that these special poses only triggered if both players had this particular DLC -now I know I was wrong.

I won a fight with someone using a headset, quite frustrating really, he had it too loud. My special ladder(Akira) pose triggered, while on his screen my Aki went all Juu'nen hayain da yo on him.

 

hmm... so my assumption wasn't true then. i think they might be random online.
