Not that I've seen. There was his jumping elbow (Ducking: [P]+[K]) in R but that's now been turned into [9][P]+[K] (making it stronger overall in my opinion). Sway Back: [K]; his mid hitting knee may catch the opponent off-guard and there's the new push kick (Ducking: [K]?) and flying knee (Ducking: [K]+[G]?) that used to be from Long Ducking, but it seems that he doesn't have an offensive tool to deal with [2][P] specifically as he did before.

Still, from what I've seen I'd agree that his stances (the ones he still has that is) seem stronger.

I think that Slipping Right now is underused. He has a mid punch that tracks and grants frame advantage on counter hit and the piercing knee leads to a combo on normal hit. I don't know if this stance is weak or if the others are too strong.

You bring up a good point with Slipping. Now that I think about it; even though he still has a head crumble in the form of that new high elbow and the "Hunting Middle Kick" (Slipping Left: [K]) still provides advantage on block I haven't seen "Piercing Knee" (Slipping Right: [K]) inflict a body crumble or either of the Slipping: [P]+[K][P]/[P]+[K][K] (high elbow > mid uppercut/low kick) moves he received in R. Not to mention his Slipping Right: [P].

The new "Rajadamnern Combination" variant from Slipping is a welcome addition in my eyes, but not at the cost of the above mentioned moves/effects from the previous versions. Though, it could be that players just haven't gotten to grips with what's available from Slipping yet, I think at this point a movelist is the only way to take any real stock of what Brad has gained or lost in FS.

On that note; according to Tamasakemajin the following moves are out:

    [4][K]+[G]
    [4][K]+[G][K]
    [4][K]+[G][K][P][K]
    [4][K]+[G][K][P][2][K]
    [6][6][P]+[K]
    [6][6][P]+[K][P]
    [6][6][P]+[K][2][P]/[8][P]

But there are still a few moves that haven't been accounted for as far as I've seen:

    [4][6][K]
    [4][K][P][K]
    [4][K][P][2][K]
    [3][3][P][P]
    Sway Back: [K]+[G]
And whether Brad can still enter stance from [6][K] and [K]+[G] (the former is really bugging me, but I'm not bothered about the latter).

Slipping Right looks good, but when you have a catch throw that leads to high damage for your tracking and guard beating needs, what looks like an easily hit-checkable two hit string that leads to high damage combos, and fast punches to stuff elbow retaliations when Brad enters a stance, all from Ducking, why bother with it? Slipping Left is relevant because of the Hunting Middle Kick for oki and the combination you mentioned that used to be executed from Sway Back for a nice, safe string that contains a mid/low mix-up. The Smash Hook seems weaker now because it is slower, though it may have some evasive frames. Ducking seems to be the go to stance for Brad now.

I think that Slipping Left/Slipping Right [P][+][K][P] and Slipping Left/Slipping Right [P][+][K][K] are out now. He may have lost all the options to enter the clinch from his striking attacks too.

2:44 = It's nice to see that Brad still has his Sway Back: [K]+[G], though, whether it still retains its crumble property is another question.

0:35 = Nothing spectacular here but it looks like the new canned high elbow follow-up after [6][K] will work well in combos, at least in this case, after landing [1][P] on an MC.

    a) about the match, the vanessa player should really mix her semicirculars a bit more - the brad player evaded half a dozen f+p

    b) yah, about vanessa, it's about time they filled "Brazil" in her bio

    b) but on the contrary, i'd say this is the best Brad has ever looked - he actually looks italian now, dunno what happened, maybe a mamber of the design team actually landed in Milan by accident or something.

It looks like [4][P][K] is mid now instead of special mid.

1:11 = Brad's teep/push kick combo from the clinch can inflict a wall slam if the opponent is close enough to the wall.

2:28 = 2P Brad slips to the left and performs "Piercing Knee" which seemingly inflicts the same vital crumble it always has however, this move was originally performed from Slipping Right. Evidence perhaps that direction specific techniques have been removed from Slipping? Or, maybe this is merely a command change...

[2][P][+][K][P][6][P] is looking guaranteed after a successful evade.

It was most likely a throw break from that new throw or 46PG

I REALLLYYY hope they made his slipping not have direction specific controls, jesus its so annoying keeping track of where brad's back is, and getting a high when you want a mid because you lost track just sucks [IMG].

I'm pretty sure that's the case. VF5FS seems to be applying the k.i.s.s. method (keep it simple stupid) and I like it.
There should still be a ton of depth. The thing about VF is that it had depth to spare. Just cuz it loses some depth doesn't mean that it's all of a sudden not the deepest fighting game out there.

I obviously can't tell for sure without playing it but just because you don't have to keep track of foot position for attacks (and hopefully combos too) doesn't mean that it's going to bring the actual gameplay down from what it used to be.

Lol, I gotta laugh cuz VF has always had some of the most pompous of elitists as fans. It's a small percentage but those guys are usually like "If it's not as hard as algebra anymore and my idiot friends start to play it, then I'm quitting VF" XD
