1:22 = It would appear that Brad has a variant attack (even possibly another from the opposite side) after Ducking: [P]+[K]. This particular punch hit high and looked like it further turned Taka who was side turned at the time to back turned.

That move reminds me of [6][6][P][+][K],[8][P]([2][P]) from VF5. The only thing that looks different is that the first part is performed from ducking instead of from [6][6][P][+][K]

Just like it should be. Bruce in Tekken doesn't need a counter hit to go into clinch so why should Brad.

I think they may have simplified Brad. I have a feeling he no longer has Slip Left and Right, I think he just has Slip now.
No longer do you have to check stance or make sure that you know which way his back or front is facing. You can just do Slip and attack. It looks like he has more than just one half circular from Slipping now too. May be one that has to be evaded towards his back and one that has to be evaded to his front.
Obviously, this is all just speculation.

I figured since they dumbed down the throw system (thanks Tekken and SF!) they would try and simplify his foot position dependent stances. Just a theory.

He has moves where you have to be in either Slipping Left, Slipping Right or Ducking, but what I haven't figured out is what he does to sweep through all of those stances. Maybe it's a smooth transition from different stances that I noticed, instead of it being broken up like before.

The throw system remains more advanced than Tekken's. It may have been changed to allow new players a chance to have an easier time getting into the series, as both veterans and new comers will have to start fresh. Of course, a console release would help go along with the system change. But we're dealing with a company that decided to release a console without telling consumers or developers...

If the opponent evades in the same direction that [6_][K] goes in, then it will be a counter hit. The same should apply to Brad's [1][P]. That's strong. I've seen an 82 damage combo done with [6_][K] on a middleweight.

Chino Brad's YouTube channel just came online a couple of days ago. Only 1 video there at the moment, but worth keeping an eye out for.

I also recommend Yoshi Brad's channel if you haven't already subscribed as another potential source of good Brad clips.

    Pai vs Brad: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GmAYQqJLt3c

Features some nice uses of his new mid kick inashi/parry and the improved effectiveness of [6_][K], what with the changes to evading in FS.

    ^Nice fight.
I'm starting to think that the command for Brad's [IMG] [4] [K] got changed to [4][4][K]

Here Brad puts on a combo clinic

@0:30 notice that Brad's Ducking P has an alternate canned followup that looks just the second punch from 66P+K 2/8P and on CH Brad gets guaranteed PK [IMG]

I believe the command you're referring to that leaves the opponent side turned is Ducking: [P]+[K][8]/[2][P]; it's featured in a couple of clips in the past.

    Brad vs Aoi: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QcSNTDroodM

Nothing new that I can see, just some good examples of wall combos etc. A nice match all in all in my opinion.

    Brad vs Sarah: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xVfKaGiCnVI

2:25 = Jumping [K] whilst descending is seemingly a low hitting kick.

If the command for Turn Sobat has been changed to [4][4][K], then it's going to be even stronger as a keep away tool since it will be easier to pull off. He also has his special high kick with the push back on guard threatening with a 90 damage combo on counter hit.

Good eyes on this stuff Adio. I tested in VF5 and Brad's BT [2][P] has the same animation that it has now. I hardly ever used that move. [IMG]

The [4][6][P][+][G] throw, or whatever it is in Final Showdown, does 35 -> 45 damage, maybe to accomodate the bigger lifebar.

A couple of new combos from the videos:

    CH [6][K][+][G] [4][P][K][6] Ducking [K][+][G] [9][K] - 103 damage

    [6][P][+][K] [4][4][P] BT [2][P] [P] [9][K] - 75 damage

I think the last combo was on a minor counter hit since it was after Brad's kick reversal. When the combo was performed off of [2][P][+][K][6][P] on what appeared to be a minor counter, it looked like it did the same amount of damage that the [3][P][P] [9][K] ender has been doing when the first hit is a counter hit. Counter hit damage might take Brad into the 80's when [6][P][+][K] is the combo starter, making it very strong.

Has anybody noticed a move from any of his stances that he can use against [2][P]? His stances look stronger in general to me except when it comes to this.

I love Winfastpx8600! The guy is a beast! Always throws all of brads moves at you, not like one dimensional brad players, also love that they improved Brad's clinch, it's now a true Thai Plum Hold, holding the back of the head, how it's really done, not holding the damn shoulders like in VF5, true Muay Thai!

Edit: They increased the Health Bars?
