VF5FS at Evo 2012: Event Details and Trip Planning

Just bought my plane tickets, registered, and found a room to stay in.

Got the time off from work. So I already booked a room, and registered for my spectator badge and and the tournament. Really looking forward to it. This will be my first tournament.

This may be a stupid question, but will this tourney be using Xbox 360s or PS3s? Since it's EVO, you'd normally assume PS3. However, Sega is handling this tourney entirely on their own. If they're supplying their own consoles, it could go either way. I just can't seem to find any solid info one way or the other. I'm asking mainly because if they are using Xbox 360s, I won't need to buy a new stick after all.

 

Good joysticks I hope? I dunno, I just feel more comfortable using a stick that I'm used to. I was actually strongly looking into getting this. That way I could just ebay my existing joystick, and I'd have a stick to use at home for my PS3. Well, I'll have to give it some thought at any rate.

 

So...it turns out Evo is sold out, the day I go to register for everything : /. If anyone registered and wishes to sell their ticket because they can't go keep me posted : (.

 

Yeah, I'm definitely going to need a yes before I buy my ticket...
