    What was changed with Akira? Also, what are the new properties of his 46p+g?

    This new piledriver throw - can you describe how it looks?

    Also, the hit throw, was the initial strike faster or slower than the initial punch of the Scratch Rush?

    Unfortunately, I didn't see too many Akis and I didn't play him so I don't know his (new) commands.

    But I did see that he has a lot more one hit power moves, many of which seemed to be two handed (which is always better of course). And they were mad fast and knocked down (but didn't seem to do too much damage).

    Above his profile on the movelist it says, "powerful single hit moves have been added / brushed up and he's been powered up!" I think the "powered up" part is sales talk though. Hahaha. I don't think they mean he's actually moved up in ranks or whatever.

    It wasn't as flashy as some of his other throws if that's what you're asking. He does do some kind of jump or spin or something then your head is between his legs and he sits down and you lose a shit load of life. Hahaha.

    The Scratch Rush is Jacky's hit throw? I think the initial hit for El Blaze comes out at a similar speed (meaning, it was relatively slow). I saw lots of people use it on a rising opponent. When it hits it leaves the opponent standing so you can continue to play mind games on him. Sweet.

    I was hoping that the new piledriver would be either the Canadian Destroyer or the Vertebreaker, but either way it's interesting to know that he has some new throws.

    That's the one where he kind of spins into the attack right? If so, then the new hit throw is definitely faster than that.

    It may well be. Hopefully someone will have a video of it up soon. Unfortunately I'm not well versed in wrestling moves.

    Wow, Brad gets 2KK. Maybe they simply removed 2K and replaced it with 1KK, at least they finally changed it, I've been whining about the uselessness of that move since the frame lists went up on vfdc.

    1K+G? A new lowkick? Dare I say one with actual high evasion properties?

    Changes to 33P+G, 4P+K, PPPK and 6PK? I liked those the way they were really. Especially 6PK, changing that move will possibly have people seriously reconsider a few very basic mixups.

    Very good chance this is his anti-clash move as well. Any idea what the combo off of it is? I still say they should have given the knee 9P+K's jumping frames, but oh well /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/wink.gif

    As for the mC throw damage bonus, that's a good idea. Should bring the average damage against decent throw escapers roughly in line with P K, but allow for high-damage guesses.

    Sad to hear they've apparently done nothing about backwalk.

    A lot of the changes there are for the better, but having no attack out of OM is disappointing.

    Are there any changes for Kage's TFT that you've noticed? Whether it be command input, damage, TFT combos, etc...

    Makatiel, that is awesome. Thanks a lot for all your hard work. R just sounds incredible. The new moves and command changes sound fantastic and should change the game no end.

    Surprise surprise - some Taka talk coming - your report on Taka sounds awesome. El Blaze new P+G throw to him sounds incredible and his heavy properties sound spot-on. I can't wait to see him myself.

    And the French guy seems great from your explanation. Multiple charge moves seems very interesting. Seems like he might challenge Akira and Jeff for pure power in his strikes.

    The more damaging throws during recovery is something I thought of a few years back. I always felt that tick throws out of nowhere should be less damaging than guaranteed throws on opponent's recovery. It can be quite frustrating to miss a big move and be a waste of time inputting throw escapes as you just get a P string almost every time. Now it should force more throws in advantage situations. Great news.

    R is just sounding better and better. We just need to pray for it to make it outside of Japan. Hopefully we'll all get to play this game (on console or in arcades) in the near future.

    Wasn't the Steiner Screwdriver virtually the same animation against Taka on VF3? I think as Wolf and Jeff are supposed to be super-strong, they could get away with picking Taka up over their heads. I remember Jeff could Gorilla press Taka on VF3, just that he threw him less distance. Maybe they'll change it this time though...

    Did you see Kage's TFT on Taka Makatiel? The old inverted somersault he did to Taka after the toss must have returned as I can't see him throwing him 10 feet and doing the izuna drop.

    Looking at that scan of the movelist from sudden_death, it looks like Lion might now have a hit throw from his /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/df.gif /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/df.gif /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/p.gif + /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/k.gif. Could be interesting.
