    You can always lean over the arcademachine and spit. What's the next step? Fighters helping eachother up after the knockdown? Big John McCarthy running in and breaking it up when someone is dominating? What about discussion circles to solve the conflicts?

    Looks like a stomp after K.O. at the end of Round 3 (although, it didn't look to connect).

    Maybe it's just an attack... or does he have more than one light-downed attack (he strikes twice with is palms)?

    lmao, yea no sh** wussup with all that? I guess you could still pop em if they crumple when you ko them or ground attack. I think I probly couldn't help but laugh if someone got pissed cause I jumped on em when the round was over( /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/shocked.gif he jumped on me when I was ko'd)standing up lookin at me all crazy /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/mad.gif lol, cry me a friggin river /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/cry.gif. Oh well, it's not that big of a deal if it's gone I guess, doesn't really help or hurt nothing

    In VF3, the heel drop was a regular attack that also served as a down attack against grounded opponents.

    I am most certainly excited about VF5R! Some observations:

    Throw damage being higher on mC is something from VF2 actually. VF2 rewarded the player with higher damage for recover throws which is what I'm assuming is applicable here. Perfect example situation would be someone whiffing their rising attack and eating a giant swing from Wolf with a damage modifier.

    The height regulation that people are stating to see may be in place to fix animations during throws - maybe Sega didn't know how to fix the issue with the current variable heights of all the characters.

    I love Taka specific throw animations. /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/laugh.gif (One of the amusing aspects of VF3 to me)

    Do you guys think with the taking out of the P and K off of OMs, we will be able to use our regular roster of attacks sooner after the OM animation or even directly out of it?

    FL K hits normal high = the foundation of her entire FL game destroyed. she suddenly turns worse than Evo Brad.

    There is no more FL P but some other attack, she cannot do normal P combos out of FL anymore -> The only other option for the above gone

    plus lots of other nerfs. I got kicked out of irc cause of flooding when I copypasted..

    So Sarah is like bottom tier, lets rape her some more!

    She manages to clench top 50 % in that winner's ratio in verion C tournaments. Maybe they're not aware of her inherent weaknesses? Surely though, if they make changes like that, they're beefing her up in other ways? That's possibly hopeful thinking on my behalf but I have some faith in their creativity/intelligence and desire to not make matters worse.

    First they made it so a CH FL K doesn't link to punches anymore, so opponents could now get counter hit and still get away. Not to mention that the FL K is a 2 hitter in VF5 A-D and that it can and does get sabaki'd on the 2nd hit of it. And now, it looks like they've made it so you can just get punched in the knee cap constantly now.

    No FL P either?

    Do you think that maybe this new FL K can counter hit into the rest of the of K series'? Or maybe, I'm hoping that if FL K doesnt have it's special high property maybe it comes out faster? Or that it's just back to being 1 hit instead of an automatic 2.

    And we can't forget that 2P itself has been reduced in range, and FL K was a good tool to beat 2P, which might actually end up whiffing or something vs flamingo now.

    I gotta know more please!

    Either way though, if Sarah really is nerfed more, how do you nerf a character that's already nerfed...

    Or maybe I just don't have a clue.

    Did anybody notice the DOA-type Wall hit animations in VF now? Example Sitting when your back hit the wall? I know i might be late but....... Anyways about Sarahs Punch out of the FL i think what they did was pretty cool. In fact that bitch look more ferious cause them stiff ass blows pack a wallop. She just can't continusly string them together after the punch but it can be follow by a mid thrust kick which will still get her the advantage. The punch even have a new animation Its more help than harm that way because it makes Sarah more Keep way. which is something that her Weak ass excels at lol! Your not suppose to try and bare down on you opponent with Sarah period.

    Try as I might, I cannot imagine anything that would replace those two issues lost even if my life depended on it. Other than that they remove low punch from the game completely or all her flamingostarters sudddenly gain +5 frames on block.. Without those she is forced to play defensive out of flamingo after most flamingostarters, defensive in this case meaning basically guaranteed punishment for her to even enter it in the first place >_> What are they thinking? Its like they guarantee she must use risky guessing games now... risky guessing games out of stance where she cant block.. All in which failure means her to eat 50% damage or something against certain characters... The strength of the unique VF5 Sarah was that she actually didnt need to.. Now they take all that away. In VF5 pressure was her redemption, that prevented opponent gaining upper hand when she went flamingo. They just took away everything that constituted that pressure.

    ..What are they thinking?

    oh yeah you cant evade after FL K+G anymore and its semicircular now... more nerfs to come... Ive never seen any character being run to the ground as bad as this..

    Hey man, take it easy, it's only a location test... Isn't it too early to talk about "destroying" a charater without having played, hearing about all the changes, and it's not even the final version anyway...

    Have some faith in Sega, they've done this stuff good for the past six iterations, so no way we would end up with something as useless as, for example, SC3 Talim (argh). /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/wink.gif

    Btw, low wall throws are cool. No idea how to link judo to a wall throw actually, guess Goh just pushes them on the wall and jump/kick/headbutt the guy in a bout of creative impovisation /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/grin.gif ...

    Manji, I don't play Sarah so I can't comment specifically, but there were lots of Sarah's there today and they seemed to do pretty well out of FL. Again, I don't know what they did to replace her regular K and P out of FL, but I didn't see a single person get ball punched out of FL. Maybe with the low punch change, Sarah is too far to get ball punched? Again, I can't say for sure, but don't worry too much about it now.

    A few other things I saw today:

    El Blaze has a ground throw! Yes!

    If you miss Goh's 3p,p (i.e., if your opponent blocks first hit and ducks the second) Goh will eat a back throw. Ouch!

    They also fixed Goh's ground throws so you can't get a free small pounce anymore. Good job! BTW, Goh no longer has a ground punch. It's a kick now and it's a stomp. Much more in character.

    Man, Kage's new TFT looks so badass. He does this flip over you then kicks your ass up in the air. The thing is though, I think it will be harder to time. Also, people seemed to fall faster, even after the flying knee.

    Oh, one thing for Sarah that I did see. She has a new double kick floater out of FL that leads to a huge combo.

    Again, I don't think you'll be disappointed with Sarah's new FL options.
