    Random Jeff

This is a dumb question, but I saw a YouTube vid of Jeff with these long dreads in a ponytail of sorts. They were swinging around during the fight and were pretty sweet. Any clue as to how to get that item?

Also, I originally thought that his /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/p.gif+/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/k.gif,/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/p.gif hit throw was useless, but I have come to appreciate it. You can really delay the second hit, making it much more likely to be the required counter hit.

This is kind of obvious, but after his 66p,p or 4k,p is blocked, low punch or 2k+g beats throws without clashing. Like I said, this is obvious, but it took me while to get used to the fact that I am not going to always get thrown after these moves. A zillion hours of Evo conditioned me to throw escape after these moves. I've heard that knee beats clashes, but I think that I have seen it clash. Is that right?

You gain it through "金争奪." Prize match (gold-something-something)?

It is a while jumping attack, and only in extremely rare cases does his knee clash, at least according to the thread devoted to clashing says.

Does anyone have any good combos for a wall hit from the /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/db.gif/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/p.gif+/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/g.gifthrow?

The old, /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/db.gif/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/p.gif+/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/g.gif, /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/f.gif/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/p.gif+/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/k.gif, /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/f.gif/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/f.gif/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/p.gif/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/p.gif, /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/u.gif/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/k.gif+/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/g.gif doesn't seem to work, as the first punch doesn't connect, and the most I've manage to find is a simple side kick...

    Re: Random Jeff

Yup /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/laugh.gif I am working on them for my Easy to juggle guide.

But I will put here for you what I have already:

If opponent will hit the wall after after /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/db.gif/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/p.gif+/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/g.gif sideways, then go for OM /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/k.gif (in the direction INTO wall) /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/d.gif/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/p.gif+/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/k.gif+/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/g.gif - about 128 dmg, plus you can try /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/df.gif/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/k.gif or /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/uf.gif/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/p.gif pounces

I am still working on perpendicular angle juggles, but maybe you can use this one: /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/df.gif/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/k.gif /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/f.gif/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/b.gif/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/p.gif+/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/k.gif /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/p.gif /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/f.gif/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/b.gif/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/p.gif+/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/k.gif /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/p.gif/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/k.gif/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/p.gif /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/uf.gif/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/k.gif+/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/g.gif pounce (this is still in testing; maybe it will be necesarry to use /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/f.gif/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/k.gif instead of /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/p.gif/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/k.gif/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/p.gif; maybe this one will turn out as not working - I am still not sure in this. This juggle seems to be working after normal /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/df.gif/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/k.gif into wall usually, and I wasn't able to test it after /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/db.gif/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/p.gif+/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/g.gif still).
I personally use after perpendicular hit /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/d.gif/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/p.gif+/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/k.gif /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/d.gif/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/p.gif+/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/k.gif/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/k.gif /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/uf.gif/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/k.gif+/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/g.gif right now, but this one is TRable with just ukemi after both bounces /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/frown.gif

both juggles reguires /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/db.gif/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/p.gif+/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/g.gif from some distance, if you are too close to wall, opponent can struglle them out

    Re: Random Jeff

    I tested that yesterday and:
    /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/db.gif/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/p.gif+/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/g.gif /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/df.gif/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/k.gif /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/f.gif/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/b.gif/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/p.gif+/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/k.gif /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/f_.gif/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/p.gif /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/f.gif/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/k.gif /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/uf.gif/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/k.gif+/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/g.gif (111 damage /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/laugh.gif ) seems to be the strongest one from parpendicular hit

from sideway hit (basicly you need to ger some sharp angle) this two seems to be best ones:
    /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/db.gif/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/p.gif+/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/g.gif OM /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/k.gif (direction into wall; backhit) /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/d.gif/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/p.gif+/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/k.gif+/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/g.gif is 113 damage;
or you can try /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/db.gif/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/p.gif+/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/g.gif OM /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/k.gif (direction out of wall; sidehit) /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/f.gif/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/b.gif/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/p.gif+/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/k.gif /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/f.gif/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/k.gif /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/uf.gif/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/k.gif+/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/g.gif (127 damage); but this one does not seem to be reliable enough

There are some more damaging juggles too, but they are not reliable, because tehy depends on too many things at once (begining distance from the wall, angle, character, how quickly/slowly you imput some moves...)

Can anyone help me with this?

I know you can do both in ver B and C against Sarah, Vane and maybe Aoi, Pai and Eileen this juggle: 6K 43P+K P 43P+K 6K - but I never can make 2nd 43P+K to bounce. Anyone know where's the trick?

I practiced this combo a few nights ago and I figured out that it's a stance dependent combo... I just cant remember if it works on open or closed foot stance.

At 1:05, when Jeffry OM /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/k.gif Aoi in the back, it looks like a new back crumple animation? That is, Aoi appeared to be turning around facing forward again (kind of like the old back crumple from VF4).

And this is probably why Jeffry could bounce Aoi from the back crumple as well. I believe you can't bounce someone after a back crumple in Ver.B.

Yes! If that's the case, there's finally a reason to be happy in getting a back crumple vs. a side crumple for characters without a low back throw.

It's always been one of my pet peeves that a side crumple for most characters is more rewarding than back crumple, because the latter is much harder to get than the former.
