I am scrambling about on the WCG website and I cannot find any information on when I am supposed to play or who. I am pretty sure I missed my April game since the qualifiers were last week? Could I get pointed in the direction where I can view who and when I am fighting?

edit: Just found an archived email from when I was out of town. Suppose I missed my chance for the April events. At least now I know who to expect an email from.

That looks like a revised rule set, i seem to remember a different one for qualifier events. I do remember the win condition to be first to win three games, with a 5 game limit. Three out of five "Rounds" is how the wording went, but we call it a match.

 

they actually do say matches not rounds in the rules. They do make it ambiguous though so I understand the misunderstanding a lot of people are having.

 

So how exactly do you sign up for the event? Do you have to register on the website? What's the general process?

Oh and WTF is up with the no custom outfits rule? That's what makes the game fun in Japan. Plus apparently there's some strange ass rule that any costumes that are too suggestive can not be used? First off...Gears of War in its entierty is way more suggestive as far as its content than VF5 and which character has a default costume that is suggestive?

 

Well changing character profiles is completely buggered in 360 (you have to exit to dashboard everytime you change profile or it wont work), so not allowing for them saves a ton of time. Also, not allowing player savefiles to be used will remove dural out of the picture I guess.

 

Nah they just straight up banned her. It was in the last rules page I read, dunno how it slipped through the edited one.

What is "Last Chance(TUP)" ?

I will try and get online in time for the online qualifiers but if I miss it I'd like to know I have another chance.

I've been out of practice for a while but with a bit of luck on my side I think I have as much a chance of qualifying as anyone.

If anyone can shed some light on the last chance thing I would greatly appreciate it as I'm about to head home and don't have time to check it out myself and won't be near a PC for a few weeks.

 

How do you guys think they'll handle the regionals next? I really question the idea of having three people travel to have some sort of what, round robin? I halfway think they should just skip to the nationals for VF and just have all qualifiers meet up there then do the brackets proper.
