VF5 in WCG 2008 this year

The US site seems to be the one with the most info. There's no Canadian qualifiers listed yet.

 

I signed up for the South in the US.

 

It's high punches, but still, I figured there has to be a counter-move that can take me out of the game, but until they did it, I was just going to wail on them. Of course the best of the best will be able to kick my ass if that's all I do, it's just people online are so anal about getting beat by one move.

Also, I'm probably going to sign up for the South #3 qualifier, if anyone else is, it'll probably be an easy round whoever gets matched up with me! I'm already in the South #1 qualifier for Carom 3D, and I'm trying to find 1 more game to play.

Damn I wanted to make a VF pause. Since it is in germany I just have to attend ^-^

 

I suggest everyone register for this. I'm sure all the doa players out there believe VF5 will bomb at WCG when compared to them. Let's try to prove them wrong and register as much people as we could.

 

The first Atlantic qualifier starts the Monday right after the big Jersey event in April. Perfect timing, I'll have gotten some serious practice in by then.

VF never got props in U.S. back in the day. Not enough Saturn owners over here. Being on mainstream consoles has helped scene emensely. I'm glad to see the long over-due respect finally come around in this hemisphere.

 

This is great.. now VF finally gets a chance to shine. (God knows it shines enough already)

 

I registered for all three weeks in the South(US).

 

Can someone find out if the UK qualifiers are actually happening?

The computer I'm on is being gay.

If they are happening then Chief Flash should be expecting many, many messages and such from me in hopes of upping my game.

Given my improvements in the amount of time I have actually spent playing the game I'm sure I would be in with a shout if I really put my mind to upping my game on the whole.

Yay I knew the voting would work lol. I'm on pacific, and I'm probably gonna sign up for the 3rd week. I'm not sure about multiple week sign ups though as when I looked at the registration page, at the bottom of the info it said
"Multiple tournament sign-up is NOT allowed." I'm not sure if that means multiple games, or multiple weeks.

W/e neways whoever fights me will prolly win, I just got the game like 2 weeks ago lol.
