VF5 in SoCal! March 29th - April 1st, 2007

I might make it out there, depending on if my wife's family will let us stay with them for the weekend.

Everyone seems to be in favor of a Socal v. Norcal rivalry, so we can at least have those teams... /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/smile.gif Nothing like a friendly rivalry to get people to play better /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/smile.gif

 

Team Tournament sounds good if there is time. Last year, set-up, dinner, tournament, awards, and tear-down went past the restaurant's usual closing time. Regardless, the event can just move back to the house for Team Tournament action if that is the case. /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/cool.gif

 

I think what people are saying is that it should be team instead of double elimination singles tournament.

With the amount of people that's coming, a double elimination tournament is going to take forever. I'm in favor of single elimination team tournament like I always do /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/smile.gif

 

I've read that some people want a team tournament. I haven't seen what you're talking about.

Last year our double elimination tournament was run extremely well and did not take forever.

 

I'm fine with whatever, singles double elimination tourney just means more chances for norcal /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/smile.gif /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/smile.gif /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/smile.gif
