VF5 in SoCal! March 29th - April 1st, 2007

Yea its freezing over here. Last year it hailed the day before everyone came, but all of the sudden it was perfect weather from then on. So hopefully we get more of that.

 

Bah, I swear, everyone else in Cali is an absolute wuss when it comes to even the slightest bit of chilly temperatures. Back where I come from, it's -25 degrees and covered in death ice!

So if you're originally from the Midwest, like me: It's not really THAT cold. Bring a spring jacket or something.

 

well it did snow in Malibu today...wtf???

 

its not so much the actual temperature, its the high winds we're getting right now, chill factor is brutal

 

I know that it snowed in San Diego not too long ago....

this must be a sign that the end of the world is coming.. lol

 

Alright, I have to see if Shang's in-person trash talking skills can compare to his online personality, so I'm there!

I am also trying to make it to this event. If I can make it, anyone have a place for me to stay or anyone want to share a room somewhere close. I regret not going to the last one, so I am really going to try and make it to this one.

Starting on Thursday 3/22 by 3pm I will open up my place for sleeping and VF play. I have 2 hdtvs and one ps3 with game and sticks.

I live 30 minutes from Ontario Airport, 30 Minutes from Burbank Airport, and 45 Minutes from LAX.

35 Minutes from Riverside (gathering party location)and 20 minutes from the Tourney Location.

I have 4 spaces. 1st to confirm via PM gets the 2nd most comfortable couch in the world. The others get floor spots.

Siyko, Shang, and everyone who wants to stay at my house. Check the details in the first post under Places to Stay. Here's my thoughts: by Thursday night, the VF5 will probably start and continue, non-stop, till Sunday(?). So - sleeping will be where ever you can find amongst bodies already sleeping or playing VF. The extra bedroom doesn't really have room for sleeping and is going to be a place to store your stuff. I'm not reserving sleeping space for anyone in particular from Thursday to Sunday as there really is no way to enforce it.

 

I am now confirmed for this event and will be on the same flight as Srider, Ktallguy, and Raoul.
