    To briefly answer your questions:

    1- nitaku
Refers to a two way guessing game, most commonly a throw and a middle attack.

    2- OM
Offensive Move, expecuted by /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/u.gif/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/n.gif/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/p.gif+/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/k.gif+/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/g.gif or /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/d.gif/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/n.gif/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/p.gif+/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/k.gif+/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/g.gif

3- True nitaku does not occur unless at +7 frames
At 7 frames disadvantage or worse, the defender cannot duck or crouch dash a throw. So at 6 frames disadvantage or better, a defender can use fuzzy guard (difficult to explain, I recommend you search for previous posts about this technique) to defend both a middle attack and a throw. Not so easy to do, but still possible. At 7 frames disadvantage or worse, the defender must guess between a throw or an attack -- thus "true" nitaku.

    4- Clash
Under certain conditions, an attack and a throw attempt will "clash" (similar to in animation to when a throw is ecaped in 3rd Strike). In previous VFs, the attack would automatically beat out a throw attempt, but in VF5 this is no longer always true.

    5- yomi
One's ability to predict the opponent and engage in guessing games.

    6- imperfect nitaku situations
When the attacker is at 6 frames advantage or less.

    7- 0-frame throw
Instaneous throw which occurs under certain conditions. Normal throws take 12-frames to execute.

You're quite a ways behind, I suggest you spend some time reading up on some of the older threads! Truthfully, VF5 can be played enjoyably and competently without needing to know any of the above, but at the same time it is VF5's unparalleled depth that allows for the most interesting guessing game situations that make it so great. Enjoy!

Thank you both for the reply /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/blush.gif

If throws takes 12- frames to excute, how come 7 frame is a disadvantage?

How to excute (or who can)0-frame throws?

    Thanks again /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/blush.gif

LOL fair enough -- browse the Dojo forum then. There should be a thread on 0-frame throws on the first or second page.

VF5 first impressions: this game will be getting played like a 100 years after! There is sooooo much to learn and sooooo many options. Every single character rocks! I have never said that about ANY fighting game, ever. I wont be goin many more places other than work and that's only because I have to pay bills. A moment of silence please, for my social life...
