Some Taka notes I was able to glean from a blog I found on VF Dojo

    [4][P]+[K][P]
New move that replaces an old one (double slaps). Comes out in 16 frames, and the second hit can lead into a combo. However, it does not knock down another Taka, and will actually leave them at -6. This is also the same for Shun's [1][K][K]... it will leave Taka at -6 instead of knocking him down, so it's gonna be pretty bad I think.

    [4][1][2][3][6][P]+[K]
Comes out in 18 frames, +5 on normal hit
It can be charged, and acts as a guard break if charged

    [6][K][K]
Knee then stomp, was featured in one of the trailers. Seems to be only good for ending combos though. On guard it's -15.

Got the vids back sooner than I thought. [IMG]

    Akira vs Lau

    Brad vs Akira

Not very good vids, since I haven't played VF in years. Doesn't show too much new stuff though.

    More Akira findings for today:
3 K+G -> P+K. Dragon lance has a mid mix up. The P+K looks like a open-handed, palm down thrust downward. Looks somewhat like the old 4 3+P animation from VF5(?). On counter, will float opponent. Possible to get in P -> Dragon Lance, etc. after.

2 K+G, P, P - last hit does depend on timing. It doesn't seem as hard as sgpm -> elbow once I figured it out.

I swore I saw someone else do stumble throw. That's my favorite throw. The throw looks the same, except this time Akira can go into the backstep transition right after. Not sure if it's automatic or not. I just hope I wasn't seeing things...

I'm getting killed by everybody so it's hard to try stuff out. I'll try to get some better vids though.

For someone who hasn't played for years and on such a different version that was really impressive. How'd you feel about the game so far?

I didn't think cards carried over from R or is that only for the location test? The Lau player had 18,000 matches on his record. Everyone else has single or double figures on their card.

KNEE down to -7 on block. I could not tell if Lau was side-turned (I do not think he was).

if it is the knee at 1:55 it is sideturned.

Yes, it's sideturned. Lau's was facing to camera.
Just like Jeffry's sideturned knee block is -9.

I like this change and it courage player to attack with huge move!

Thank you so much for uploading this. Finally a vid where Brad uses some of the moves seen in the promo vid. Looks like he FINALLY has at least one attack that gives advantage on block and takes him into stance, YAY YAY!
Eat your heart out Lei-Fei and Shun :p

Yo Pheenom, you're the fucking man. That vid kicked so much ass.
Looks like Brad has a throw/catch throw off of Ducking [IMG]

From the way he positioned his hands it looks as if he was about to go into Clinch.
Not completely sure but IF that's the case, it would mean that Brad can go into clinch without having to counter hit or hit you with anything!
Ducking -> Catch throw = HELL MOTHAFUCKIN YEAH!!

Edit: Just realized that I'm getting excited over a game that I will never play unless I fly to Japan.

Lol, silly American, new VF games are for Japanese.

Quick note on Vane's ground stance. I noticed if she hits with that low kick from DS that transitions into ground stance from the side, it's +11(and a ground stance K sidehit is +13)...free beatdown grab for 70 dmg? Yes please^^

All those hits were in the side. It's a bit less + frames when hitting normally.
