That makes sense, and maybe he was trying to get a wall splat cuz it's pretty close. Hopefully we can see more Jeffry's videos to show what he's capable of.

I think it was skewed before. Jeff and Wolf all take significantly less damage. That 94 dmg combo from Pai? I'd be willing to bet it wouldn't work on Jeff. So these characters take less damage and are harder to ring out, giving a tactical advantage. Why should they deal more damage as well? By virtue of them being large?

Pai's launcher in the video was CH. Jeffry's was NH.

In this video (pre ver.A) Jeff's knee combo on CH lands for 104.

Interesting Taka combos, up to 147 against walls X_X

Aoi combo without using a wall, don't know if this is the most damaging though.

Sarah combo, looks like the last segment when the camera changes is triggered by 66K+G

Thanks for the video Shag, it's nice to see "mariner's power" and more reasonable to me. I'm more curious what Myke mentioned before the double hammers are tend to hook up a wall splat!! Can't wait to see what's gonna happen, maybe 120 I guess.

AM2 change everyone has 12f standing P in FS, and Taka has the most powerful one. Comparing different characters with the same frame moves also bring out different damages, disadvantage, etc.

Lighting characters are supposed to be more flexible but weak power. So you can create more chances into attack and keep yourself safe, and heavy characters have exactly the opposite way to play. Size doesn't mean exactly advantage cuz Taka can be punished by specific combo since VF3.

I assume that Pai's combo won't work on Jeffry, and I also believe heavy characters are not easy to combo ring out. If that is the only advantage they have, what about the stages with wall? No one can ring out?

Very good match here. Game sure looks pretty at 60fps

    1:33 techrolling from bounce ?!

Very interesting. The same combo was done at 2:16 and he didn't tech that time. Was the 1st combo attempt at 1:33 slightly mistimed and hit him too low to the ground allowing him to tech? Couldn't really tell the difference between the 2 myself but there's definetly something about the FS bound I wasn't aware of.

Could have been mistimed but one thing I noticed was the 1st combo was done in closed stance and the 2nd was done in open.

I was also thinking about mistiming the move, same was in normal VF5 when your input was too late, opponent could perform tech roll.

Yeah typical Kage although now he does it forwards. Weakened throws would lessen the threat but still that was a long carry. Where does the soundtrack come from?

Naka's Kage is really good to watch. He and Jin-kage are the most entertaining.

Shuns neutral throw only +2dp now?

Good to see AM2 decrease the dp for neutral throw, but Shun can still do 6P+G into back throw guarantee which is +4dp at previous version.

Have you guys noticed Shun's 6P+K is +5dp, and the weird thing is that the dp number is floating, not a exactly number to add 5.
