    Isn't this side crumple? I doubt this is the new back crumple animation. Doesn't look like it. Could anyone confirm?

    This is the new animation for the back crumple.

    One of the changes in FS is that in order to get a side crumple from a middle kick, it must connect as a counter hit. Previously, a recovery counter was OK.

    In the above video, Jacky whiff's [4][4][P] and is still recovering while still Back Turned. When Vanessa lands the [3][K], note that there's no blue flash -- a sure sign of a side counter hit. This then indicates that middle kick lands as a recovery counter hit in the back.

    And so it looks like a recovery counter hit is the minimum requirement for a middle kick to cause a back crumple.

    Thanks for the vids Myke.

    I noticed at the end of the 3rd round when AK SpoD'd her into the wall, the knee didn't scrape her off the ground. I wonder if that move lost some of it's hit box. Or maybe that was just a post round thing. I'm leaning towards loss of it's hit box for now cause i've seen folks get juggled and re-lifted after the K.O.

    EDIT: But still, it's weird cause she still was pretty high in the air when he attempted the knee. So maybe just a post round thing. Or the stance maybe now that I watched it again.
