VF5 Final Showdown Console Features

Yeah, The player completes the task that is given and is awarded with a new player License rank.

 

Thanks for the video, westtrade! I was thinking that the License Mode challenges were just going to be things like: "Your opponent has more health", etc. only. It's great to know that they'll also be using them as a teaching tool. Things like that should really help new players understand VF's fundamentals.

 

OH WOW! A taste of what the achievements/trophies will be like.

 

I never played VF4. Do you have to win a round and meet a certain condition during that round?

And does the game tell you what you have to do before the fight or is there a bit of a guessing game?

 

Quest orders weren't necessary to win the rounds. In Evo, they were simply one of 30 different challenges in arcade mode that you'd get on the 4th and 8th stages.

They were also in Quest Mode but they were per arcade and you had to select them first. The objectives were things like doing MTEs, breaking wall sections, getting excellents and so on.

 

I heard about that "big" announcement on Monday, i'm hoping it is an official released date and price at the least. What are your thoughts?

 

I really believe and hope that the "big" announcement is the release date!
Pricing would be okay to know but it's not that important and I wouldn't call the price a "big" announcement…

i hear you on that tocuh, and def, where'd you hear that from, i don't doubt you but were you at the arcade where they had that tournment a few days ago?

 

no i wasn't there at the arcade event, i heard it on twitter.

 

The SEGA rep announced it live last night in the stream for everyone to hear. He said a big announcement was gonna drop Monday and i'd assume either release date or price. I agree pricing isn't a "big" announcement, the release date is what we all want to know. They already submitted final code to Sony and M$ for approval, so the game is finished. No problems waiting until Monday for news, I will however be upset if it isn't a release date (preferably in the June 16 or before time frame).

Yeah, we are all pretty much waiting at this point. A Final Showdown release date would surely take the stress out of planning your vacation. I think it's about time.

 

im sure that vf5fs will come about end of May or early june..i hope it!!and it will be nice if will get a demo!!

 

Honestly, my guess is still for a July release, but June certainly would be nice.

 

July would be maddening

 

July is a little far for something that is already complete, and apparently Sega's pocket is hurting. The pre-release party is in May. June sounds more reasonable.
