Both consoles cost reasonable price at the meantime. Since VF5 ver.c is Xbox360 exclusively so most of VFers will definitely purchase DLC on XBL. We are also looking forward to see what's gonna happen in PSN, and maybe there are more new faces on that platform.

If you are not in rush, you can wait until the reputation comes and make your decision.

Sorry but VF5 Final Showdown is not going to let PSN players fight against Xbox live players.

The main game is almost complete, The only things they had left to do is fix a texture bug that is on Jean, finish up the special sparing mode, and few other small things.

We wont be seeing any major adds to the game from now to release. Now after release, it is up in the air how much (if any) new modes will be added to the game.

Yeah... that's what I figured. Still fun to speculate, though, eh?

It's up to us to show Sega that it's something worth doing.

i'm sorry but i know it's been asked a couple of times

but all i see is various VF music getting in this game

is there a chance of VF5:R as well as VF5 stages getting in this game?

Juneau, The game that will be released on psn and xbox live will be a port arcade version. The stages that are in the game are the final showdown versions and not the VF5:R versions.

Of course this could be added to the game in the future via dlc.

What about the button combinations to get music from old VF games to play, is that going to be in the console version?

You won't have to press any buttons, you just go to settings and choose the older music.

That's kind of disappointing because I'm assuming others can't hear your selection and that it's a local setting only. Oh well... I really love the R soundtrack and was hoping to be able to pick that every round hah.

that really really really upsets me. SEGA please dont lose a feature from a old version. I used this locally/tournaments a lot,
Taking my GT and customs on a usb stick. not pleased. People still do play together in RL not just online. Its like there is no point to even having costumes. It makes me sick watching matches of default characters after VF5FS arcade lol

If you only count the logical ones then it might be heading towards 99% [IMG]

Actually, does anyone know if we can upload our replays or at least save them to harddrive then USB?

    2 things

    1) Are pre-fight intros confirmed? I found them very cool to not put them

    2) People should consider that the USB option could be a bit of a problem since at least the PS3 only has 2 usb options, which probably will be already used if you are an stick user, the 360 slim is another tale though since has 5 usb, but it seems like the ps3 is the standard in the majority of tournaments, but I could be wrong

You can, assuming it's one of the BGM options in the menu in question. I don't follow why you would want your opponent/spectators to hear your music selection. I'd be much happier with my own choice, so as not to be burdened by someone else's, wouldn't you?
I'd say a good majority of us are rather fond of them. Here's to hoping.

In Soul Calibur 5 it would rotate who had control over the music selection based on whose turn it was to choose the stage. Since I enjoy all the music in the game, I would never mind more variety.

So it's sort of like doing a series of Quest Orders in Evolution?
