Did you play more specific with East coast players? I check out youtube and it's the same 3 bars criterion like Ver.C we have.
    Thanks~

    Some pictures from Famitsu,

They still have the point system in customization [IMG]. Otherwise, much better improvement from vanilla VF5. Even the background looks really nice!

Dojo Mode, as you can see, you will be able to train in your favorite stages! Bravo with this one too Sega!

Frame window changed. Liked the older one slightly more, font wise. Still a much welcomed improvement as it no longer is in the way.

Demonstrations are in, hopefully all the moves have them like in EVO [IMG]

Kinda saddened that character profiles aren't portable; I really think it would've been a great help in promoting the game (i.e showing off all those awesome customizations during tournies; whether on the big screen for the crowd to see or on stream; and showing the sheer dedication that was put into that aspect of the game). Makes me wonder how a crowd would react to this Jacky laser-eyes winpose (1:36:13) - http://www.ustream.tv/recorded/21349230

Other than that; everything is perfect. I really can't wait tbh; I've been watching match vids till my eyes twitch o_0

We now know there is no knockout trial mode. Let's hope they implement the bingo mode into online play to get the old people demographic.

I was disappointed to hear that also. With all the features being added,I was worried we would lose something. Version C on the 360 already had portable Character data. If we make enough noise , perhaps Sega will add it back in the game as a patch. All in all,I'm pleased with the feature set. I will be losing a lot of sleep once this game comes out.

I would hope for the PS3 version, I know it is possible on all 360 games, but i would hope when they release the PS3 version, there is the possibility of using custom music from ur system's hdd.

So our next big request of sega should be the ability to store your character configuration on a memory stick and import them on a different console if it also has the DLC independent of profile. Reasoning :this would be fun, make tournaments more "hype", and so help the popularity of the game.

    Over to you, sega.

Posted this in another thread, not sure if people missed or it's just a dumb idea but might as well post it here...

Can't we make sure one person who has all the DLC makes sure to bring their xbox/ps3 and use that persons console for the tournament matches?

You can set some time aside during casuals for people to come over one at a time to create a profile and customise their character, sounds like it could be a bit of an hassle depending on the turnout but I think it would be worth it.

I agree with Marly. They keep going on about how the console release will no longer be behind; that it will be on par with Japanese arcades. That would be one significant advantage the arcades have that would be a major bummer to not experience, if they fail to include such a feature.

There is a roundabout way of having your data on another console; and that is to save your data to the XBL 'Cloud'. Problem is, you still have to download your profile on the Xbox you want to access your Cloud save data from.

However, at the very least, this should be doable for finals in tournaments. This is because during the downtime between pools and finals, you already know who the finalists are and you can get them to download their profiles (making them aware of selecting the 'save to Cloud' feature on their profiles beforehand) on the set-up beforehand, then delete them after the tourney is over.

I think it's worth the effort. It makes the game look that much more vibrant and alive; tones down the seriousness of it all for people who think that VF is 'too hard' and 'serious business'. It just promotes fun and good sportsmanship; eases the tension; it would spark some laughs; you can recognise which player is playing simply by their customization etc.

Since the game is the same between the 360 and PS3 versions, any word on PS3 players being able to fight 360 players?

Or are we stuck fighting people on the platforms we share?

I have neither a ps3 or 360 so I got no clue how the connectivity works.
