I haven't seen an option for Stage Select, just Change Stage. I really hope they add that in for the final build. I just want to fight on Sarah's stage all the time.

Myke, <div class="ubbcode-block"><div class="ubbcode-header">Quote:</div><div class="ubbcode-body">Record and Playback in Training Mode (similar to VF4 Evolution, with multiple action playback)</div></div> What does it means?
Very important for serious fighting game to have the feature:
    - you record action #1 (for ex. Jab, then Mid)
    - then you record action #2 (for ex. Jab,then Throw)
    - then you start Playback of these actions with RANDOM playback alternation/sequence... for training against such a mix up game.

Is this what you/SEGA announcers mean?

I hope to see VF-Music-Themes available from older titles as well. I miss the Lei-Fei-Theme of VF4 Evo...that was cool. Would be nice to choose different themes while Stage-Select via some special input.

Yes! [IMG] </div></div>TBH, you could do that in vanilla no? There was a way to practice fuzzy-guard in vanilla, I'm sure of it.

In VF5 you can practice fuzzy with the training options available; however, you cannot record actions to cater your training to any actions you fancy.

    Oh, that will be awesome!
That is very important that we could to create our personal (manually created) mix-up playback actions to training our: Fuzzy, Abare and other defense techniques.

Okay, since I know now that VF5R stages are "under consideration" for DLC, I won't mention it yet again. Now I'll just beg Sega for Character Intros!

One of the most common complaints about VF that I hear from non-fans is that the characters are "boring". I think that adding character intros to the console release would be a great way to help change that misconception.

The intros just add so much personality to the characters, I love seeing them. I haven't seen another fighting game do anything like them either. It just would seem like a total waste to not include them in the game.

Just let players access them in the Terminal along with the items. Include each characters' basic 3 intros for free (like the arcade), and then sell the rest as DLC! I would easily buy them all for every character that I play.

It'd be great if they could be shown on the character select screen like the arcade, but if that won't work, I'd be happy with just having them shown in replays at least!

So if you're reading this thread, Sega (It certainly seems like you are!), please add them to the game so I can give you more money! [IMG]

Something I noticed from watching the stream is that in Versus Mode it doesn't keep track of a players winning streak above the life bar (like it does in the arcades). I hope Sega puts that in the final version.

Yeah, I'm gonna be irked if they don't include that. Definitely my favorite custom option.

How does that add personality to the characters? Most of them are looking like retards falling on their ass. I'd be down with better ones though..

If the Norcals FS side tournament was any indication there's still things that Sega can work on before release, and I'd be damned if the more important stuff get neglected for shitty fan service like the cast falling on their ass or running and getting smashed on an invisible wall... fuck that.

That's speculation, and you didn't bother to mention that in your previous post. It's obvious that we can only make suggestions to Sega indirectly. A single forum post isn't going to determine the game's final feature set.

My own speculation: I don't think adding something that's already in the game is going to take resources away from new features that the console port will have.

I'm wondering how many people actually try DAYTONA on XBL? How is the connection?

The connection on Daytona is good, but don't let the existence of lobbies fool you. The situation is just the same as VF5 online.

If 80 people are playing online at one time that means 10 full lobbies. Sounds good. But that means if an 81st person comes online and wants to race, they can't. They can't even join a lobby unless someone leaves as they're searching.

Its awesome. Some skips mostly due to international players, but great overall.

Anyone know if there is the possibility for regional matchmaking?

I mean it's cool that I'll be able to play against APAC players with a decent connection but regional ranked is going to be sometrhing I'm really keen for [IMG]

Especially if you can earn items online.
