WTF? So they are releasing the game finally, but doing so in a fashion that is stop a lot of new comers from getting the game. This is ironic since they are making new controls for said new comers. It is as if Sega is trying to sabotage themselves. This will sale poorly, and then they will use this as an excuse to delay VF6 and such. Eh, as a VF, I will support it, since I got all the DLC and such to support VF 5.

As much as I love VF, I can't get hyped.

Too much waiting has killed my love for this great series.
      Sucks.

I know right. It's like they'll always find some kind of way to piss you off. I'm happy to get it any way that I can but damn Sega, come on. 2007 was a long time ago, we need to speed things up.

This is great news, but it's still very disappointing Sega so long to announce this, and then to release it a year later. FS will have been in arcades for two years by the time this comes out, and I wouldn't put it past Sega to announce another VF soon after and kill the hype again.

I mean I'm fucking ecstatic I'll finally be able to play this, but Sega missed opportunity after opportunity to finally make dent with VF outside of Asia, and I just don't have a lot of faith in them to give FS the push it will desperately need.

This is the best gaming news for ages, Sega are getting the magic back again, especially with Sonic Generations and now this.

Finally something to drag me away from Halo.

I really hope that this game comes out before EVO.

I'm so damn happy though. This is amazing!

It's disappointing to hear about no spectator mode.

I hope there is a replay channel like SSF4AE has. I think it would be a great thing to be able to easily get matches of top players distributed through the internet.I think it would be a good tool for people are unfamiliar with the game to see how experienced players play.

For me personally, I am a VF noob basically. I would love a replay channel for this game. I would watch vids all the time, hehe.

SEGA themselves said it is, they've got two FS cabs all ready. Guess it's safer to listen to them than planetmy360 [IMG]

I'm not happy about the one on one player lobbies. Today's fighters all have player lobbies with 3+ players AND spectator mode (Street Fighter 4, Soul Calibur, Tekken, even Dead or Alive). This is a huge facilitator for growing a game's popularity (Justin.TV and such). I'm happy the game is coming but Sega looks to continue to make mistakes with the release. PLEASE try to add player lobbies with at least 4 players and spectator mode. Having a group of friends to play VF online won't be as fun otherwise.
