A tear ran down my cheek as soon as i saw that VF Final Showdown was announced for Xbox360, and it was a tear (or should i say tears) of joy. And that's all i have to say, now excuse me as i wipe the tears from my eyes.

Im Going To BEAT FIRE out of you..... Mark My words lol!!!
I will Crush each and every VF opponent i ever had who ever presented a challenge before. I been training up until this moment. No more excuses from anybody about they're main being to weak or not having the tools... no more playing multiple characters just to get over the hump. I Must Commence to defensive training from here on in lmao!!! Sega came through in the clutch and i could'nt be more happier. hopefully it will get here in the spring.

Me too, I'd like better connection rather than watching spectator mode.

2012 summer > FS console version
      2013 summer > VF6 arcade
      2014 > VF6 console version

We still have one year life to enjoy this game, and hopefully SEGA can follow this time to release update version via internet!

What would be the point of having FS as a tournament game at evo with everyone outside japan playing the game with 1-2 months (if that) experience against seasoned vets who not only played FS for over a year but R (from 2008) as well. I think the game needs to have an evo presence but only either as an exhibition or non japanese players only. Thats the only option that really makes any sense. No one wants to see a top 8 of only japanse but that is exactly what would happen with the game coming out so close to evo next year. Sorry to say.

Can you imagine the wholesale slaughter if Fuudo decides to show up for EVO again next year and there's a VF side event?

I don't think pretty is even on the same spectrum as whatever you're going to use to describe that spectacle.

The SF and Versus crews may have largely lost their awe of Japan but as far as VF goes I don't think we have much of a choice but stand in their shadow (just like GG, BB and MB).

Yeah, that would go really well with promoting the game. Whoa new vf. Oh japan stomped everyone so bad there is no point in playing. DOH!
Either exhibition at evo with seasoned players or a team tourney with teams where japanese players are present on each team. thats the only thing that would be fair.

      I'm so pumped!

this is easily in the top 20 best days of my life.

I'm still in shock, still can't believe it. We spoke, and Sega listened, (either that or it was easy cash, but lets not look at it like that)

nah, this can only be a labor of love. I feel so happy after waiting so long! Thank you Sega!

I'll at least buy another copy or 2 for friends new to the series.

Would'nt Mind a Team exhibition where you team american and Japanese Star players. Thats all Evo need for VF5FS. A Nice Exhibition.. Being that Fuudo Won, Itabashi played good and gamerbee had experience a bit it would be a good look.

Please can we start some London training sessions to get the VF Army in shape for landing?

This really did come out of no where - it's not the Tokyo Game Show, it's not E3... it's not even April 1st!

I'm really looking forward to not having to pay 100 yen a game or sit in a smokey arcade to play VF [IMG]

Got in some vanilla VF5 on XBox Live at home for summer vacation and it was a lot of fun, even though the lag was rough playing against people from the UK.

Hey man, I'm certain sessions are gonna start stepping up, just keep an eye out in the match making forum, also neoempire.com is a good place to check for news on VF5 sessions/gatherings in London.
