Okay now I'm confused. The rules say we play a total of 5 matches.
At first I thought that meant first to 5. But then after I was told you can only have a total of 15 points, which means a TOTAL of 5 matches, no more. But then I read posts with results like 3/5. So that makes a total of 8 matches....
So what is it then??
If this is to be fair I think it should be, first to 5 matches and keep score of rounds. That way the actual better player doesn't end up with a tie in points and will still have 5 more points over his opponent. Don't know if it’s too late to change that rule. But I think that makes more sense.

I appreciate the effort in organizing the tourney Brisal. I do. I ran countless tourneys myself. But I think it's clear that things, well are not so clear and are not accurate. So I think asking or accepting some good criticism will help make even better tourneys in the future.

NEW RRT POINT SYSTEM per Myke[/size]
<span style='font-size: 14pt'>ROUND ROBIN TOURNAMENT January 1st -31st</span>
ROUND ROBIN RULES
All settings at Default (Time, Round Count, and Stage)
1) Each player should ONLY play players in your RRT (Round Robin Tournament. Example Wolf vs Wolf, Akira vs Akira, etc..)
2) Each player MUST play the opponent in your bracket 5 matches For every match not played you do not earn a point.
3) Each ROUND WON is considered a point. However, if you win the majority of the matches then you earn an additional 3 points. If you lose the match you only earn one point per each round won. So PLEASE keep a tally of how many rounds and how many matches you have won[/size]

Example:
characters: Player A vs Player B (rounds)
Match 1: 3 2
Match 2: 1 3
Match 3: 0 3
Match 4: 3 2
Match 5: 1 3
-----------------------------
outcome 8 13

So Player A leaves match with 8 points and because of the the 3 bonus points Player B earns 16

4) Hosting must be determined by the players involved. However, the loser of the match can request to change to the Hosting duties. PLEASE HAVE A MIC AVAILABLE or use TEXT
5) All matches must be played in the PLAYER MATCH LOBBY
6) Match results must be text messaged by both players to the gamertag: Brisal73 ** THIS THREAD WILL BE UPDATED with SCORES ASAP **
7) Lagged matches will not count toward points total. So please work it out between yourselves or points will not be given. ** I RECOMMEND A DIRECT CONNECTION FROM BOX TO 360 DO NOT USE A ROUTER OF ANY TYPE**
8) People can join the RRT at anytime in January. So please come to this thread to see if anyone new has been added to your tourney. Limit is 10 per RRT and end date is January 31st.
9) If your the only participant in your RRT then you automatically make it to the KING OF THE HILL TOURNAMENT on Feb 9th.
10) If at the END of the Round Robin Tourney there is a tie in your bracket then you must have one more match before the Character Tourney in Feb. This DOES NOT include ties during seeding matches.
11) Have fun and show good sportsmanship

Who cares how the rules are..round point win lose eh this isn't a real official tournament anyway this is just an all for fun round robin thing online. I'm sure no one really minds how the rules are.. However, for those that want to prove that they are the best or for those that want to settle VF rivalries its always the event at Socal.

you didn't update the scores properly for the jacky seeds. you didnt give me extra points for winning my matches against dennis, and chibiaya said he was out of the tournament didn't he?

my 360 is rrod and about to be sent to microsoft in a day or two. if i get it back before the end of the month i'll try to catch you other el blaze players but as of now it looks not likely.

thanks, i've read that people have gotten their 360's back from 10 days to 3 weeks after getting the coffin from microsoft so there is a slim chance i can just cram in some matches at the end of jan. if the other players schedule's are ok with it.
