Like I said in the first sentance, I'm using HDMI cables. I have the same cables for both systems. I even switch it with the stander HDMI cables that came with my 360 Elite. And still game looks dark. Hopefully, the options has a GAMMA setting.

I'm still surprise the gameplays well with the 360 pad.

This demo is a bit strange, perhaps last minute? It feels like there is bit a lag, but maybe that's just me. Otherwise awesome, I was begining to go insane hahaha.

PS: Sarah MC FL /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/k.gif isn't guaranting /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/p.gif/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/k.gif ..... TOTALLY GAY SEGA!

The EX2 stick seems to get the job done. It's no VSHG, but I didn't have any major trouble.

I wish the demo was longer but it's better than nothing at this point. So far things are looking good.

This Demo version is pretty poor imho. They could have at least given the options to increase A.I difficulty and to turn off that horrid commenting during a versus match.
Wish I could say something relevant about the 360 controller but without my main character being selectable I can't tell the difference between 360 stick and ps2 pad.

I was pleased with the demo because it's usually standard that fighting demos only give two characters lol. I do agree that the difficulty should have been changeable but I can't really complain about the rest.

I think the difficulty is set to very easy so that everyone across all skill levels can complete the demo. Quest mode will have varying levels of difficulty as usual.

I can't do anything with the 360 pad (Elite or Standard)

So I used my DoA stick and it worked surprisingly WELL.

About the difficulty and length of the demo. This is the same demo from the PS3 kiosks all over the place. LOL I've played the hell out of the one at my local Target for months now. But now I don't have to leave the house for my Akira fix. The D-pad as it's been discussed before does NOT get the job done at all. I end up jumping when trying to input forward commands. The pad has definite sweet spots.

I'm pretty sure I'm the only one that doesn't really have a problem with the d-pad. Yes, it's pretty terrible when compared to a ps2 pad, but after playing SF2 HF for a few months with this thing it's not as bad as it's being made out to be. I haven't had a problem with inputs yet, so I'll stick with it until it just completely pisses me off.

Maybe my 360 pad just has god mode on.

Having played the PS3 version extensively earlier this year when I had my PS3...the game contrast does seem a bit darker. Everything else...from the self shadowing to El Blaze's muscles on his back is spot on. It's been a few months though since I've gotten rid of my PS3, so take that with a grain of salt. What I have noticed is that the edges in the game seem to be a bit more smooth. Maybe it's just me.

Whatever the case, this demo is a total cock tease. I've been dying to play 5 again since I sold my PS3, and this just isnt enough.

I say the DoA4 demo is the better demo of the 2 fighting demo's.

Awesome demo (finally!), although short, I got to learn a few moves with Akira and El Blaze. I can't wait for the full game so I can go through the Dojo and learn to do the moves more consistently.\

I'm still trying to find the right button config to play the game well on.

Been waiting all year for this.

That guy who said this demo is the same as the PS3 shop demo...are you absolutely 100% certain? And if so, is it likely that the full version will be the same brightness and the camera will be closer to the action? In the live demo it seemed further away than what I've seen in vids of the PS3 and arcade versions.

Its version C. Although the character selection is the same as the Kiosk demo.

So basically no hope then for a brighter, closer-camera final version then?

What close camera option are you talking about?

I'm talking about how in the demo the camera seems slightly further away from the action than the PS3 and arcade versions (at least from the vids I've seen).

I'm not the only who thought so, someone else in this thread (think it was this thread anyway) said the same thing.

After playing loads of both the 360 version and the PS3 version, I have to be honest and say I don't notice a difference in camera postion. Though also, it's not like that's really important to me, as long as I can see what's going on.

And the dpad! Everyone's hating on it, and I can't use it for VF, but it was fine for SF2. I just can't use dpads for VF period.
